The outside is really nice. The room in the old blacksmith building had a somewhat dated interior, but it was clean comfortable and functional. So all basics covered. We dined in the evening and this was excellent and the breakfast buffet was also really nice. Their personnel was very friendly and helpful.

The check in was very smooth, we arrived a bit later than 10 pm because we had car trouble. This I had communicated by telephone, this was no problem. The rooms are not so big and are very noisy. We had the misfortune that that day there was a bike ride tour through the city. And the cyclists who participated...

Always coming back here for years shows you the consistency regarding staff politeness and service. Food wise a chance can be noticed. The food is still good, but over the years downsizing can be noted

The Maasparel is a medium-sized hotel, on the main street in the village of Arcen. At the rear there is a very pretty, well-kept garden, and free parking. Our rooms were not large but perfectly adequate with all the usual amenities. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent; the breakfast buffet was also very good. There is no lift to the...

First of all, we (2 business men) had boocked 2 nights, but as soon we arrived there, we told to the reception that we stay only one night because of some business change. She said that it was not a problem, but finally the day after we had to pay for 2 night COMPLETE instead of only one (or one...

I didn't stay at the hotel, just had lunch whilst visiting Arcen. I had the "Pimp Burger" and sat outside in the sunshine. It was very enjoyable and hit the spot just right. Although it was just a burger, it was still very good, and I'm please I decided to eat there. Menus in Dutch and German only. Staff spoke...

We just had dinner at the restaurant and we did not sleep in the hotel. Good service, the dishes are well presented, but their quality could be significantly improved. Too many strong flavors together, often do not allow to fully enjoy the dish. Price maybe a bit 'higher than the actual quality.

The rooms are big and clean but outdated and very noisy; the staff is not very welcoming. The location is good in the middle of the little town and parking is free. The breakfast is very basic. I think the place is perfect for old people with low standards.

We stayed here for a nice relaxing weekend while visiting the Thermal baths of Arcen and it was just perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself apparently had a lot of guests (judging by the number of people which showed up for breakfast), but we heard nothing from anyone in our room (apart from the...
