Decided to eat asparagus here a couple of weeks ago after a good experience 4 years ago. But this time the food was below par, also the meat-dish my wife had. We didn't use the hotel facilities, but the restaurant was a big disappointment

This place is remote but great for walkers and bicyclists. De Vossenberg's terrace is neat and the staff is alert and friendly. The breakfast is good. The village is quiet with a few further eating establishments. The routes for walkers could be better marked. We had to deal with a few surprises as the printed instructions we had received in... I've stayed there while attending an event in the neighborhood. It is a nice country hotel. We had a very spacious room, well maintained and clean. It was located in the building next to the main one. The hotel has a big own parking lot, so going by car there is not a problem. My advice - take the option... More

This hotel has a perfect location as a starting point to discover the well known Dutch nature area named De Veluwe. The terrace is a vivid and pleasant place to relax, in the lounge you can take a beer, the crew is very friendly and helpful. My room was simple but clean and quiet. A nice bonus was the performance... More

Looking for a basic and fair priced hotel, you can choose De Vossenberg! The rooms are clean, do have enough space and all facilities needed. However, outdated. Personnel is friendly and helpfull, the location perfect for those who love nature. For us, a place to return.

This is a very nice hotel in the middle of the forested landscape of the Veluwe, close to historic towns such as Harderwijk, Amersfoort, Apeldoorn and Arnhem and their various attractions. The village is tiny but still has several attractive restaurants to choose from, which is why they call Vierhouten the culinary village. Hotel Vossenberg is a relatively old but... More

De Vossenberg is my favorite hotel in the Apeldoorn region. The rooms are pretty basic, but the food is great, and the service is just awesome. The staff really make you feel welcome. All in all great value for money in a wonderful environment with excellent service.

We stayed here for a one night stop-over. The room was pretty small (although we were told this in advance, we didn't realise 'how small'). If you were much taller than 6 ft then you'd have trouble sitting on the toilet without banging your knees on the opposite radiator - which incidentley was turned on in the morning (on a... More
