Very rural area. What I didn't know before arrival (we booked through another website) was that the rooms are outside, like cabins almost. The surroundings are nice, but I kind of wanted to go to the pool in my bathrobe and in mid-winter that wasn't an option. The main dining hall looked like it came straight from a Harry Potter...

Hotel is in a nice location. Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and efficient. Restaurant was very expensive however so would still try it but be prepared with your wallet to take a battering! we discovered other restaurants in the area that were cheaper and food quality just as good. Will definitely recommend going back to this hotel...

This hotel is definitely not 4*. But having said that one has to admit: they do try. Personnel is friendly and helpful. The spotty carpet is not nice, it's 70's decor is very 70's but it is clean. The rooms are more like little cottages than hotel rooms which means walking through dark damp and chilly forest to get to...

Nice hotel with nice rooms. Non-typical hotel with many separate buildings with apartments/rooms. Parking is central. Do not try to drive in the dark. Narrow paths with almost no lights and plenty of things to bump into. They could have better much signs. My room only had one single TV-channel - a very local Dutch channel that had a 1:1...

The small town of Breekbergen has some nice restaurants and cafes and is located within biking or walking distance from the hotel. Parking is easy and free if you drive. A nice place to stop after an excursion. There is a a restaurant at the Hotel but you must make a reservation, choices are good but limited and a bit...

The location of the hotel is very nice; in the middle of the forest. The main building at the hill is the restaurant for breakfast, drinks and dinner. Breakfast is very good. Dinner is average. They have nice dishes at the menu. Starters and desserts are nice. Main course is not so good. Meat (beef & pork) are not so...

It is not expensive but you get what you pay for. It has a mediocre hygiene, the bathroom smelled badly and even after a whole night of ventilation still not acceptable. The rooms are spacious, but you think you are back in the eighties. A lot to improve to get an average level.

We have stayed here before (way back) and remembered it as a lovely situated and comfortable place with some unique features. When we arrived we were welcomed in the most friendly way and directed to our rooms. The rooms are situated in cabins with a downstairs and upstairs arrangement. All very nicely embedded in a beautiful surrounding. The interior of...
