A nice and cosy little design Hotel and restaurant downstairs. A very nice place to stay while touring Ameland or to stay after mudflat Walking. Helpful staff and in the middle of tiny little town Nes. A bikerental shop and many restaurants nearby. A little walk (or a busride) to the beach and the harbour for a ferry to mainland...

This was a very short visit with friends to the UNESCO World Heritage island of Ameland on the coast of Friesland. A beautiful little hotel, very friendly and well-equipped. The rooms are very modern and comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner were casual but beautifully prepared and attractively served. Everyone was very friendly, and of course they all speak perfect...

Excellent small hotel with very friendly staff. Quality of the bed is very good. Bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast is really outstanding. The hotel also has a restaurant serving a wide range of dishes. All in all worth the trip to the island.

We stayed here for a long weekend (3 nights) in the queen suite. Nice room, bathroom with a nice double shower and bathtub, and also a sitting area. Breakfast was included and was good quality: continental including bread egg (anyway you want). We also had lunch once, which was also nice. The hotel is located in the center of Nes,...

Stayed for one night one King's day. We were lucky to get one of the two rooms with a double shower (two rain showers in a really big cabin) and that was a real treat. The room was clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was quite big and worth its money. The whole place was very...

I am reviewing both hotel and restaurant. We stayed for one night in a very comfortable room, well decorated. The adjacent bathroom had a bathtub and a double shower (this hotel is obviously for couples looking for a romantic getaway). There was an extremely uncomfortable noise that made the bed vibrate. Upon checking, it was due to the kitchen's ventilation...

The hotel was fully booked, so we had to settle for the restaurant. Unfortunately the weather did not permit us to sit outside on the large terrace (excellent spot to watch the crowds), so we found a table inside. The place looks sharp and the staff is both friendly and (especially for Dutch standards) accurate. We enjoyed the interesting version...

I stayed three nights over a weekend in July and was totally pleased. This is a smaller, upscale escape (boutique hotel) well worth a stay. Hotel just opened in Spring this year. Does not remind you of a hotel, it's more like a good friend gave you his/her place. None of the standard business hotel interior like desk, phone, alarm...

I spent a weekend with my partner for our anniversary and we booked the Royal Suite. Very nice Suite with bath and shower. It was a pity that we had twins bed and 2 blankets. Not very romantic for this one. Anyway, the food is good, and the breakfast really correct! We got a boiled egg, different kinds of bread,...

“If you're a fan of big shower cabins and maybe washing together try to ask for one of the two double shower rooms.”
DanielaBaila, May 6, 2014 | Read review
“All rooms are different in size, some have shower and bath, some only shower and/or bath. Check out the images and make sure you know what you get if you need one in particular. Some rooms have windows to the outdoor seating area, might not be the best if you want to sleep early in the summer. However, the place does seem to slow down/close around 23:00 (11pm).”
