Mostly spanish visitors, hotel gets busy on the weekends. Good food, friendly staff. Always free sunbeds. Great location close to the Beach, quiet area. Bring your own towels, bring cash to pay for sunbeds at the beach, and prepare to expand your spanish vicabulary since most of the staff only speak spanish. Meal-times are short, dinner is late. The gym & spa is closed during the summer.

Dear tareksoolking, thank you for choosing us for your family holidays. We regret that you leave with that feeling that is far from the reality. Please, know that we have other Arab clients of different nationalities, as well as Muslim and Arab employees who are collaborating with us for a long time. In our chain, no Client is treated differently according to their nationality, beliefs or any other condition. Best regards, Juan Fco. Rubio Director

My wife and I stayed for 3 weeks on an AI basis. Generally the holiday was very good but there are a few negatives which I will start with, so please be sure to read the full review. The biggest problem for my wife and I was the location, the hotel is very isolated with no bars or restaurants nearby. Although we were AI we do like to walk around and buy drinks and the odd meal out. There were also a few negatives regarding the buffet food BUT a lot of positives as well. The chips were always soggy, even the “fresh” batches that were brought out. The restaurant had a lovely, large show cooking facility which was mainly good. I say mainly because as an example or two they cooked fresh omelettes most mornings but no option for added ingredients such as peppers, onions or cheese to name a few…..(Spanish Omelette??). On two occasions a chef was cooking steaks, but, not to order and just “piling them onto a dish and every so often pouring oil over them. Sure enough they were not edible and very tough. Also, why couldn’t they cook fried eggs to order rather than over cooked dry batches left in a dish? The entertainment of an evening was not for us, we did go twice but both times regretted doing so. Now let’s get to the positives and there are many. Every lunch and dinner had gorgeous homemade soups and also very rustic homemade stews and meat dishes. Also there were lovely paella on offer. In general the food was very good but with a little more effort could have been excellent. The bar facilities, rooms, cleanliness were exceptional. The staff were so very friendly and helpful (except one barman in the main bar who needs a bit of training on customer service, please, thank you and smiling, he let the side down).

We stayed in this hotel for a week in May and thoroughly enjoyed it. The reviews online had mentioned that the walls were very thin between the rooms but we only experienced this on our last night. Rooms were cleaned daily and everything was spotless. The balcony is very small but not overlooked. We were on the 9th floor. Most of the guests were spanish and although difficult at the beinning of the holiday to converse with the reception staff, by the end of the week we understood each other and they were exceptionally helpful to every request we made. Marcel on reception was brilliant and when we lost a set of rosary beads in the bedroom he got onto the laundry straight away and managed to have them back to us safe and sound within 12hours. We also enjoyed Rosie in the bar who again, although her english was not the best, managed to understand our drink/food order and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant got very busy with spanish visitors at the weekends but mid week was very peaceful. We went to breakfast just as the doors opened and never had a problem. Excellent choice of food. There was a free courtesy bus into Guadamar and a taxi ride was €8.00 each way if you wanted to go in by yourself. Lovely shops and restaurants in Guadamar and would definitely stay at this hotel again.
