At the Augusta Eco Wellness Resort, opinions vary among guests. While the ambiance earns accolades for its stunning attention to detail, including fabulous decorations and a beautiful Christmas setup, the rooms receive mixed reviews—some commend their comfort and style, but others mention neglect. Overpriced services and unexpected charges lead many to question the value offered by the resort. Amenities like the spa are generally appreciated, yet issues with overcrowding and maintenance have been noted. Cleanliness also divides opinion, with some guests satisfied and others disappointed. Lastly, service quality seems inconsistent, with commendable friendliness shadowed by disorganization for some visitors.

It's not the first time I've been to this hotel, it's still good, but the rooms are already showing the passage of time. Wardrobes that don't close, floors totally scratched, small details that would need to be corrected.
The facilities are quite well maintained and the spa and treatment areas continue to work well, although the water was a bit cold.
I was in MP, correct breakfast and dinner to choose between several first and second courses, also including desserts. Water comes into this regime, which they rush to bring to the table, even if it's time, without asking anything, the rest is charge separately.
Value for money, somewhat high, it still has in its favor the unlimited spa time and that is the reason why many people come.
Recommended for short stays.

Beautiful resort with nice relaxing spaces: swimming pools, SPA, Yoga and treatments. The hotel is incredibly well maintained and the decoration is magical. The staff super welcoming and helpful when asking for advices. The food amazing. Super experience

Our stay has been good, the treatment by the staff of the two resorts as well, but a renowned Spa can not afford to have on breakfast schedule staff who do not know, or who are apparently Trainee. It's a way of talking, kids waiting for someone to be on them.
Enter the room, 4 waiters, 10 tables uncollected, a girl without q commands over them instead of rushing her q should be the one who runs that team so I don't know notice the lack of working hours. At the end you feel one 15minutes later and clear 10 minutes after breakfast because they tell you that in 3 minutes they close breakfast...

Perhaps the problem is that when you come from a very high level, going down is not the best option. In our case we usually summer at the Carlos I Silgar, but this year it was impossible to find a room and we tried this one.

For starters, I will say that they are two hotels with two completely different philosophies and possibly their types of clients have nothing to do with it. At Carlos I, quality and customer service are paramount in every way, you have close proximity to the beach (50 meters) and its outdoor pool equipment (always frozen water) or its basement spa meets for rainy days or relaxing moments.

At the Augusta it is just the opposite, unkempt rooms, disastrous reception service, breakfast service of a 2 star hotel and old...badly, let's not kid ourselves. And the parking lot, more of the same.

Calling your family rooms "family maxi suites" is pretentious, not ironic and surreal. A family does not need two bathrooms of pin and put, they need a bathroom with a good shower, a good bathtub and above all, cleaning. And the towels deserve chapter by chapter, for their very low quality. If it's true that sometimes you had to ask the cleaning staff to "absorb more" come on, make it newer. Sometimes I went from having some “word” with the cleaning staff to claiming more towels and saying “they already have in the room”. Bad, bad quality. Do not look to your rooms for comfort or luxury of four-star hotels. And if they put the air conditioning in summer, let them know that they are noisy and not little.

Regarding breakfast, wrong, let's not kid ourselves. Tell customers to hurry that in 15 minutes they will withdraw everything? Really? I can understand it in a 2 star Pension or Hotel. But what is this? I already wish they had the same dedication so that everything was in place or customers did not have to recharge the juice machine (throwing oranges) or we did not have to chase the small staff demanding oil, salt, cola cao... in short. There is a clear staffing problem (due to lack and inexperience) and a clear management/management problem. The first, at heart, are young people who want to work but the second is neglect and unprofessionalism. Talking to other guests at breakfast (everyone complained about the same) they commented that they were regular and getting worse and worse.

Where everything changes and for good is in its outdoor heated pools, there is much appreciated the breadth of spaces, water temperature and options for the client. No objection, much better than your competition, here are Top-rated. Is it worth the hotel? Uffff, if you are going with young children or the comfort and quality of the hotel is secondary and you value the heated pools... it is your hotel. If on the other hand you value a good hotel, service, food or service... it is not your hotel. Perhaps they have some kind of "bonus" or "ticket" to only use the pools, if so, then it could be an option for rainy days.

We went three, two days, two rooms, half board and the right to a spa and "two aesthetic treatments per person" and we paid almost €400 per head, that is, €1100 approx.
The bed in one of the rooms with wrinkled, unstretched sheets, even the cushions stained with carmine.
One of the sinks clogged, shampoo residue in the shower.
Papers in the trash can in the room.
Hair on sofa etc.
Awful!!!! We are outraged.
But the last straw came with the bathtubs where we were treated with salts and essential oils, the latter non-existent.
In another "Flotarium" treatment there were ants inside the water and the edges.
We made the corresponding complaint and they responded with a "sorry."
We have never seen each other in these, we have been in hotels and hotels both nationally and internationally.
Hence, I write this indignant because we feel cheated, that a four-star resort hotel that lacks hygiene, minimal care such as changing a garbage bag from one guest room to another, or turning on a tap in the shower for at least less cleaning the waste from the previous client and the thing about the sheets, the carmine, etc. was crazy, we even photographed, what could be photographed.
Outrageous!!!
Disgusted!!!
A real shame!!!

Book a room with spa for adults and baby plus a pet directly with the hotel.
Everything was fine until we arrived and the room where they accommodated us is in the main building and the spa is in another one where we have to go by car.
They make transportation easier for you, but carrying a 2-year-old child without a chair and in a bathrobe from one building to another does not seem like the most correct thing to do.
Not to mention that the pet that pays €18 per day cannot stay alone in the room, making it unfeasible for two adults to go to the spa.
I would understand that this would happen if you book the spa when you arrive but not when you have booked everything together.
The response from reception is that they are full so they cannot move us. (we arrived at 10 in the morning) and we did not access the room until 3 pm as is the norm but I think it is something that they should reconsider because in our case we will not return again.

On the other hand, they did not give us any information upon arrival about the activities or the facilities.

Finally, they have a transfer to the beach but they also don't have baby seats for the car, and it is 1 kilometer walk away, so I recommend other hotels on the beach that are also cheaper.

We are a couple with a 16-month-old baby and we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, in a family suite, in building II of the resort.
This is a hotel that focuses on relaxation and seeks to attract families.

The resort has some positive aspects such as the extensive water circuit, the vast majority of which are heated, which allows for relaxation, as well as some parks and children's spaces, garden areas and a vegetable garden, and interesting views over the estuary.
The quality of the food at the POTUS restaurant and the adjoining cafe was normal.

However, it has a series of negative aspects:
- most of the resort's spaces, namely the swimming pools and rooms, are in need of maintenance, showing aging;
- in the family suites the beds are relatively small (but this is information we already had when we made the reservation); there are stairs (which is a problem if there is a baby who has recently learned to walk) and the insulation for the corridor and other rooms is terrible (the noise in the corridor seemed to come from the room itself and you could sometimes hear the children and conversations from other rooms);
- in building II, where the family Suites are located, there is no restaurant space to have a meal (the café/bar that operates during the day only serves drinks only exists for breakfast), which means you have to walk down the street and go to the another resort building (I speculate that not using the dining space in building I is a way of saving costs, but that is incomprehensible given the prices charged by the hotel);
- the opening hours of this same café end at 11pm, which is strange in a hotel designed for holiday use and taking into account the dinner hours of the restaurant in building I, which only start at 8:40pm;
- the start time for dinner in the restaurant is late for families with young children, which is strange given the hotel's family focus;
- there was no supervision or support in the pool areas, which meant that, for example, on one of the days, in the middle of the day, the rubbish bins were already full and overflowing with diapers (normal when there were many babies) and there had been no any replacement or cleaning by the end of the day;
- the quality of the breakfast products were not at the level of a 4-star restaurant and with this price positioning.

Overall, the hotel has the potential to be a luxury hotel, but it currently has services and facilities that look like a 3-star hotel, despite the great water circuit it has; and thus, the quality-price ratio is unfavorable.

Right now I write my review from a hotel room and I can only say that please return those who have left, absolute disappointment with the change of concept, have dismantled everything that distinguished them, neither echo nor wellness.
We noticed it as soon as we entered, the plants withered, some wild, the artificial dirty, the facilities left, disappear the holistic and integrative services...where the soul and spirit of this site is.
And they plan an aquapark... but this in the hands of who has fallen, speculator, investment fund?
Certainly not the person who also passed on a lifestyle in the book Sanivoros.
I feel that it is reversible, since there are more and more proposals like these, I suppose they will not be so stupid to let go.
Let the people who have made us enjoy both their decorations, their plants and orchards, their treatments and services for body, mind and spirit...
Thanks to the staff, although they've loaded up a few...
We want Organic Garden, Dome, Decent Towels, We want Luxury Seeker corner, etc.etc.
I'd like to come back...

It is really offensive how quickly the staff at this hotel respond to reviews, which take no more than two hours. Claims, on the other hand, tend to be forgotten frequently. They still use the trick of letting it go, "see if it's forgotten."
In the end it is a hotel with a great name and a terrible management, a constant deception of the customer with numerous lies and manipulating the information without any control.
In my case it was with a gift voucher and they let me look pretty bad with the person I gave it to. I have paid quite a lot to go on a Friday of low season and they have had little shame to tell me that February is high season, that if that Friday was like a holiday and other excuses of low pay.
When they see that the technique is not working, they tell you that there is no availability when you are trying to book a month before...
Then an individual who signs the emails as “Rafa” in a formal context assures you that they will refer the claim to the hotel’s address, but a sensible response never comes.
The consumer body concerned shall resolve this situation.

I went with my family and some friends to spend New Year's Eve, it is a shame that the quality of the facilities, rooms, spa, decoration, etc., does not correspond to the quality of the food expected in a hotel of this category. The New Year's Eve gala had many defects, there were no welcome appetizers as usual, the food arrived cold at the table and of little flavor and quality, bad dessert, nougat thrown on a greasy plate with 1 polborĂłn for 7, they promised a source of chocolate and it was a bowl of melted chocolate, they wanted to charge us extra at the open bar for ordering Nordest gin and worst of all, the DJ was only hired until 3 in the morning. The New Year's menu had, among other dishes, macaroni, meatloaf, eggs and again cold...in short, I do not recommend going to spend New Year's Eve at this hotel, although there were very good details such as fireworks, the decoration and candy bar but Otherwise very poor for what you pay. I would recommend staying with just breakfast since the facilities and the spa are worth it.
