We had such an amazing 7 night stay at this hotel and can't wait to come back! Check in was smooth and we were given some sparkling wine at the same time. My side sea view room was brilliant and then we saw my friends full sea view room we were blown away. To be honest we could've spent the entire holiday on her balcony the view was that good! The staff were all so helpful everywhere. Restaurant and bar staff very friendly. All the cleaners would say hello. The atmosphere around the hotel was just really good. Both pools are excellent and not too cold. Loved the little water features in the pool that you could get under, which we did happen to do quite a lot! Loungers were never an issue. I've had more choice of food at other places, but the food they did have was always very good. My friend got hooked on the cheese and ham toasties! The cocktails were fab, especially in the main bar. The entertainment was also very good. We only watched the singing acts but they were all good and people were up on the dance floor including ourselves. My friend even got serenaded by one of the acts! Location wise it's about 20 minutes to the marina if you're not stopping to take photos like we do. Also a great little square behind the hotels in the other direction was a hidden gem. I'll end on saying I'm missing the place like mad! I'd be back tomorrow if I could!…

I had a wonderful week staying as a solo tourist in the Mirador Papagayo. It is a wonderful location, lovely spotlessly clean hotel with a laid back and relaxed atmosphere, but with totally professional staff. Immediately on arrival I was upgraded to a sea view room, which was on the 5th floor of the main hotel. I was delighted, the room was huge with a bank of wardrobes, two single beds and a sofa with a large bathroom. The balcony overlooked the pool and the sea beyond and was perfect. There are fridges and tea and coffee making facilities in the room and some English channel tv programmes if you wanted to watch tv. I know people have commented on the food and yes, it probably could have been hotter, but the variety and quality was good and so much choice you really didn't have anything to complain about. Travelling on my own I felt safe and comfortable everywhere. The location of the hotel has immediate access to the coastal path, which is paved and wide with spectacular views over the sea towards Fuerta Ventura. I hired a bike, which you can order from the reception the day before and felt totally safe exploring on my own. The beaches around Papagayo are stunning and well worth a visit, only about a 20-30 minute walk to the first very large, wide golden sandy beach and there are about 2 more before reaching Papagayo Beach itself, which personally wasn't my favourite. Most of the people staying in the hotel were older couples at this time of year, but there were some younger people, it was more of a quieter hotel, away from the throng of busy Playa Blanca and the restaurants at the Rubicon Marina, which was only a 15 minute stroll down the coastal path. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to the hotel, especially as a single woman travelling alone. A lovely hotel at the quieter end of Playa Blanca. Couldn't fault anything but just the restaurant gets very busy and it is like a canteen. Breakfast was my favourite meal of the day. Evening meal there's always something to eat but food was not very hot. There's always a good choice but too many people and lots of noise. Would stay again but only for bed and breakfast. Location good for the rubicon marina. Taxi to Playa Blanca just under 4 euros. Lots of shops restaurants and lovely Playa Dorada beach.

This was our 6th time at this hotel, where we enjoy the beautiful setting and walks along the seafront to the marina and Playa Blanca. Last year we felt that the food was below it's usual standards but thought that it was due to being post Covid. This year the food was much better and returning to its earlier high standards with the reintroduction of the speciality service on some nights. However, the general atmosphere was noisier due to the removal of table cloths which helped to deaden the sound. The new policy of water being available to all guests in the dining room, at the bar and around the pool is a very welcome addition. As always the staff are exceptional, everywhere is immaculately clean and bedding and towels are changed regularly. Again we had a fabulous holiday with a beautiful seaview and will definitely return.…

My wife and I had a fantastic week at the Mirador. This will be a short review because I can't think of anything to moan about. Apparently I can't make it a short review as I have to use at least 200 characters. So, spotlessly clean, lovely swimming pool area and the pool was very pleasant temperature wise. Most people seem to have a problem with the food. We must have had a lucky break as we had no problem finding good food. 15 minute walk to the Rubicon marina with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. I paid the extra for a sea view room which was worth every penny.

Quiet location, 15 minutes walk away from the Rubicon centre and harbour. Can’t fault the staff and hotel, clean and well maintained. Food good but not a lot of choice at lunch if you’re staying all inclusive. Bar service too slow, entertainment not brilliant and rooms on level 3 if not facing the pool are like dungeons. We’d come back only if we had a different room.

This is the 5th time we have been to this hotel and it has kept up its high standard. When we arrived we where given a welcome glass of champagne. The reception is kept spotlessly clean reception staff where friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in for the 1st few days was a basic room but was cleaned to a very high standard and the bathroom was also kept clean to a high standard. After a few days we moved to an apartment for more space as we are a group of three adults we had a nice apartment next to a swimming pool the location was stunning, Main bedroom was fairly large only downside the bathroom wasn't as good as those in the rooms ( a bit old fashioned) never the less it was cleaned to a high standard also the safe was a bit dated as well (compared to the rooms). A friend and I are just back again from this lovely hotel, and as before, had a great holiday. The hotel, in my opinion, is perfect in every way. We had a double sea view room which was kept spotless, very comfortable beds, and amazing views from the balcony. The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant & bar staff are also very helpful and friendly. The selection of food at breakfast and dinner is amazing, and we always found something tasty to eat. We had the pleasure of meeting Marjolein, the deputy manager, who is a great credit to this hotel. She was a delight to talk to, and helped with our luggage as we were leaving, which was much appreciated. All in all a perfect holiday, and we will be back again soon.
