This place was brilliant, I wasn’t expecting much because of some bad reviews I had read but it was so nice and relaxing. The staff were very polite and nice and it was clean. I would definitely recommend this place for families with children for the water park alone. We ended up there most days. The pool in the hotel had a real chilled atmosphere. The rooms could do with a lick of paint but they were clean. The beach is a few minutes away by foot and is really nice. The AI drinks aren’t the best but that’s standard and I ended up getting my own at the supermarket after my evening meal. Honestly one of the better holidays I’ve had on an AI basis. Good gym as well 👍

This place is lovely! It’s clean, the staff are friendly, the pools are gorgeous and regularly checked. It’s super clean! The rooms are dated and very small and as we are a larger family we upgraded and was not disappointed at all! The bigger new place we was given was perfect! I would highly recommend upgrading not only do you have a more up to date place to stay but you get a spacious outside private area with a jacuzzi!!! The entertainment area is huge and the staff are brilliant! Elys especially! He constantly interacted with guests and was great with the kids! We ventured out a few times and was always helped and guided by reception. I’d like to mention how helpful one of the receptionist was and that’s Jordi. There is a little supermarket with a good range of things and the floats are same price as going into town they blow them up and continue you to if they go down. My only thing that I’d say needs improving is the food. Don’t get me wrong they had a wide variety and there was always a different dinner each night it just wasn’t very nice but that is honestly the only thing about this place that I really didn’t like. My family had a wonderful time and made some great memories here

Lovely reception area. Staff very welcoming. Food in restaurant was good, catered for all tastes with theme nights . Compliments to chefs, waiters did excellent job keeping tables clean. It was a quiet time so didn't have to queue. Didnt have food from snack bar, very limited choice there. Hotel was clean throughout and felt covid safe. Brilliant Animation team worked so hard to interact , at times it looked so hard for them. Drinks were typical for AI, would have been nice to have reusable plastic glasses rather than paper cups in evening. Perhaps could have had more professional evening entertainment not karaoke. The room itself was a jet2 promotional room, so wasn't expecting a lot, it had what you needed, but did need updating, especially the bathroom. For the price we paid we couldn't fault it.

Always do 3* in the canaries in winter. Must say, were amazed by the reception area when we arrived. Thought we must have the wrong hotel! Reception staff welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Thanks so much for our room change, it was perfect. Room was fine, kept clean and well stocked. Pool area the best we've had at 3*and also very clean. Drinks fine, beer and red wine good. Could do with glasses at night for adults. First time we've ever had paper beakers but we soon solved that ourselves. Don't understand why people moan about the food. It was varied, well cooked and generally hot. There was always some quality on the evening buffet i.e roasts, steaks, prawns, mussels and something to go with them. English bacon and sausage at breakfast a nice touch. Compliments to the chefs and kitchen team. The only negative I have regarding food is the snackbar. Yes, there are sandwiches and fruit, cake and salad but I was put right off with the kept warm breakfast items, burgers and hot dog sausage. Non of which looked at all appetizing. Could do without these items and replace with more cold offerings,or invest on something to cook items fresh. Would have been a 5 from me if the snackbar had been better. Not going to mention staff individually as everyone we met were brilliant. All in all, this hotel is by far the best we have visited in the canaries with a 3* rating and hope to return in Feb, covid permitting. Thankyou all for a lovely, long awaited holiday.

Was here for 10 days october half term, 2 families, we got what we paid for basically, the room was dull and outdated but wasn’t fussed about that as your not there for the room, I found the drinks fine, partner didn’t, he went local supermarket for a bottle of wine each night, the entertainer team were good with the kids and got them involved, my son enjoyed it (age 9) The location is great, 2 mins walk from a lovely little beach Water park went there 4 times, only managed the AI there once as the queues were just too much and no where to sit, kids enjoyed it thou 😛 Breakfast was ok Dinner was ok Evening meal, did the first 2 nights then went out the other 8, just no organisation at all, just queues if u went n got your chips or veg by the time u got to the meat station everything else was cold but we got a good deal so wasn’t bothered about eating out, headed back to hotel about 10 for last orders :-) Second time in playa Blanca, I would go back, some of restaurants were so good just no sure if I would stay here again, in fact I don’t think I’ll do AI again 😁 Did have a great holiday thou 😁😄😁
