Finca Son Roig was a former farm and livestock unit in Porreres. Today is our "small rural-hotel", completely restored on 2005, honoring its rustic style and character. It is a paradisiacal place located in the middle of the island, surrounded by green fields, red poppies and aromatic orange and lemon trees, a place where you can disconnect and relax. The outside area features a swimming pool and a large terrace where you can enjoy summer afternoons or evenings at pleasant temperatures. If you are looking for complete relax, you can just take a sit and read a book, next to the fireplace. For those guests who like being on the move while on vacation, here are some activities that we recommend: horse riding, cycling, trekking, golf and water sport activities (both about 20 minutes distance to the Finca). "Local art-markets" or "Local wine Cellar" in Porreres (closest Village to the Finca) These are just a few options that you can try and get to know people and their typical

We spent an entire week at the Finca and it was amazing.
The staff is friendly and very welcoming with great service and attention to details, thank to Tanya, Kathe and everyone... Our room was spacious (Suite) and the swimming pool really nice with comfortable sofas.

We were travelling with our son (1 year old) and they made everything perfect, from is bed to its homemade lunches and dinners. The great location allows you to find beautiful beaches at 20 mins drive. Oh... and did we mention the surroundings with beautiful landscapes to watch from our private terrace?

A highly recommendable place to stay!

Located in the middle of nowhere is this little beautiful quiet haven. Very clean, gorgeous gardens and salt water pool. Simple clean rooms, Very accommodating staff (Julioe and Maria) and great fresh food. If you want to see the island you would need a car due to location but if happy to have a peaceful week a taxi from the airport would suffice. Was a very relaxed place and the local town was very authentic, around 10 minutes away. Parking on site, room and pool towels provided and changed when requested. Rooms cleaned daily. Small fridge in room. Air conditioning. Lovely main hotel - very authentic building. Made to feel most welcome by the staff. A real pleasure to stay here. - I would say more for adults than families - although there were families there too.

Finca Son Roig is a real insider tip. We have already been there for the second time for 2 weeks because it is just perfect in many ways. The central location is one reason, because from there all parts of the island are within easy reach.
But the other reason is the system and the service itself. Like a small oasis, it combines the paradise of a superbly maintained hotel complex with restaurant and dedicated cuisine, with sufficient privacy. In an outbuilding you live in the suites like in your own small finca with garden. Daily room service, extremely friendly staff, great pool and food & drink at any time of the day. This is really awesome. In addition, the small hotel is dog-friendly, our three corgis were allowed to eat at every meal and were cared for lovingly.
The unbeatable friendliness of the entire staff makes your stay an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a finca stay away from mass tourism in a private atmosphere, this is the place for you.
The chef deserves special praise. Creativity and regional products, some from our own cultivation, give rise to enthusiasm.

The finca is located a bit away from Porreres. It is very quiet and idyllic. The whole complex is beautifully landscaped and extremely well maintained. Fruits and vegetables are grown locally, and you can taste them. The pool area with the large daybeds is very welcoming. Snacks and drinks are served at the hotel.

The breakfast buffet is excellent, the selection of fruits and fruits we liked very much.

Even better, however, was the dinner. We did not expect this and surprised us very positively. Everything was freshly prepared. Very much attention to detail and the paella was absolutely fantastic.

What we didn't like at all was our Suite No.9
The suite had 2 levels, in the upper one the air conditioning has not worked for some time, so at least the visual impression. The warm air naturally moved up, and it was then much too warm at night.
For our two children downstairs 2 sofas were converted into beds. One of them was under the stairs, and there were cobwebs hanging from the stairs, which the children didn't like so much. In the somewhat aging bathroom there was hair on the floor. The view of the suite was of the courtyard. The terrace was a bit difficult to reach via the upper level via a former window in the stooped corridor. Therefore, there are also deductions for the suite, which was not at all reasonable for the price. Fortunately, we only stayed once in the finca.

This rural hotel is located near Porreras, surrounded by the quintessential countryside of the island's center. The peace and tranquility you feel here are instantly relaxing. Our room was beautiful and cozy.

We spent our two-week stay enjoying simple pleasures: having breakfast, walking, reading, eating, napping, visiting the town, cycling, and savoring good wine. These simple activities left us feeling delighted and fully recharged.

The pool was perfect for these hot days 😎. Also, Wednesday's BBQ is a must!

I'd like to thank all the staff for their excellent service. They were always kind, attentive, and detail-oriented, from our arrival to our departure. A special thanks to Sara and Julio for making our stay even more enjoyable.

This is already our second time, but we will definitely come back!

We were able to spend six wonderful days here in October.
The finca hotel is very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Mallorca and is ideal for simply switching off. The selection at breakfast is very extensive and there is also a large selection every day for guests who would like to eat dinner in the restaurant.

As the finca hotel advertises itself as "agricultural tourism", it was therefore not surprising that you could admire the beautiful nature from your terrace or at breakfast and dinner. You could also enjoy a visit from some chickens that can roam freely around the grounds.

The finca's outdoor area with its green spaces and spacious pool area is well looked after by the gardeners. The food service staff are extremely nice and communication in English or sometimes even German is possible in addition to Spanish.

We would like to extend special thanks to Julio and Sarah, who were always able to help us and ensured that our vacation was a great success. We will definitely come back here again!

Receptionist ineffective and obviously not able to communicate with customers (unanimous opinion of our group of 8 people). We had 5 bedrooms including a very small one (1B) the others having an area of more than double and especially a trickle of hot water for the shower, which made us take the shower at our friends.
The answer to my negative review was to deny the lack of hot water, despite my supporting photo and to say that we were offered another room, which was never the case.Replying to a review by claiming that the guest is unreliable in his comments is scandalous. A respectful attitude would have been to contact him to understand rather than to assert an untruth.

My family and I stayed at the Finca from October 5 through the 10th and loved it! The rooms were rustic and clean, views spectacular, and the staff friendly and helpful. Located about 45 min inland from Palma but was worth the drive; an inland jewel. They have beautiful landscaping, flowers, fruit trees and take immaculate care of the property. Just get a small car for the small windy roads! Pool area so pretty…

The breakfast every day was plentiful, beautiful and delicious! The dinner menu and food on the terrace was done very well.

Sara and Julio along with our two wonderful two wonderful staff in the dining area, catered to us and delivered delicious, beautifully plated food each night, and even one night unexpectedly! They even helped us with reservations and transportation! We enjoyed our time there very much…

Small but nice hotel. Slightly remote, therefore very quiet surroundings. In 15min distance by car several small towns and restaurants can be reached. Great location for day trips. The hotel was very clean & the staff very friendly & accommodating. The pool is fine & clean. Loungers are always ample. The food in the restaurant has also been very good. A lá carte always seemed to stay the same (at least in the one week stay), but there are also “motto” evenings like BBQ, paella and tapas. These were really great.

Small but nice hotel. A bit out of the way, so very quiet surroundings. Several small towns with restaurants are 15 minutes away by car. Great location for day trips.
