If you do not have any special/great expectations then this might be a good solution. We decided for this apart-hotel at the last moment and eventually we were happy about it. There were some cons and pros - a bit too small pool for our children (but with always available sunbeds), a small and crowded public beach (but only 100 m from the hotel and the sea with a lot of fish where we would only go for a swim and then back to our sunbeds at the pool), nice views from the hotel room with beautiful sunsets every evening, good even very good choice at dinner (with rather repetitive and limited breakfast choice), calm and pleasant atmosphere...
Stayed here several times now. Always pay extra for sea views as they are amazing along with watching the sunset from balcony. Friendly staff. Very clean. Good choice breakfast with omelette station. Highly recommend. Will return next year. Position amazing within minutes walk of both the sunset strip and the town. Tiny beach in front is lovely when quieter out of season.
This was our first visit to Ibiza and we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was immaculately clean and the food was varied and delicious. We upgraded our room at a cost of €48 for four nights. The every night the view of the sunset was spectacular costing less than a seat at Café Mambo. The rooms are large and comfortable with twin beds, a sofa, kitchen area with a useful fridge for cold drinks. The pool area was spacious and relaxing, using hire towels ( €15 deposit per towel ) on plentiful sun beds, making use of shady areas and umbrellas when we needed them. The beach next to the hotel was a bit small and grubby; best viewed from the balcony. The pool side restaurant and bar served a range of cocktails ( €8 ) and a mixture of standard and interesting menu choices ( €6 - €12 ). If you want to charge your pool side purchases you are asked to put a €100 deposit down, anything you don’t spend is refunded in cash. The staff are very helpful, friendly and organised. Although we weren’t told that one drink a night with each evening meal was included. We particularly enjoyed the hot meals, salad choices, deserts and for breakfast the crepes, omelettes, pastries and churros. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the bus station and a number nine bus that takes you straight to the airport ( €4 each ). …
After all the stress of organising 6 children to stay in pairs with family and a 2am start rocking up to Blau Park at 9.30am welcomed with a smile was just what I needed. It was our first holiday without our children since our eldest was born. My hubby had read the reviews and just booked it for the radio1 weekend. The hotel was immaculate so clean and I loved the pool area by day and night. Our room was spacious and again so clean with room service every day. It wasn’t overly busy but then we’re used to going away to all inclusive family resorts normally so it was a breath of fresh air. We hired towels for the 3 days we were there which I thought was reasonable as we only had hand luggage cases. It has shops very opposite for memorabilia, wine, milk they had most things. It was in the perfect spot and a short walk to the harbour and nearby restaurants like Cafe Mambo and Rita’s which did a lovely breakfast. We also managed a few trips to Playa d’En Bossa and Old Town which was fab not too long in a taxi. We would highly recommend and would love to go back, all the staff were welcoming, the views were beautiful and the breakfast gave a good choice. We enjoyed omelettes a few mornings yummy! Thank you for a lovely break we hope to come back again in the future hope it won’t be another 17years though!…
This is my 4th stay at this hotel. I've stayed here with my family (2 adults and 2 children) and also with a group of friends. The hotel is family friendly and has a lovely mix of families, couples, nationalities and groups of friends. We love the pool. It's not too big and easy to keep an eye on the children. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need. The views from the rooms are amazing and the sunsets stunning. All the staff are lovely and so friendly. My only criticism is that the hotel classes a child over 11 years old as an adult and as such we had to book 2 rooms, which bumps up the cost. It was OK the first time as we had connecting rooms, but the 2nd time we stayed we were 4 rooms apart, which wasn't ideal. We will definitely stay here again!
