Friendly staff. Excellent service. Very comfortable rooms. Great value. Quiet, even though it's in the heart of the town (and four minutes walk from the beach). It's been the best hotel in Conil for the last 15 years ... And still is.

This hotel is really worth a visit and stay. Rooms are clean and nice, service is good, staff are very friendly and the breakfast is good. Beach towels, chairs and umbrellas available to borrow. Great rooftop with a small pool and lounge/sun chairs. Great view of the town and beach. We will be back to this little boutique hotel located in the center of the town and close to the beach.

If you are looking for a place that is not listed in all major tour distributors catalogues - this is the place to go. Friendly, family style, centrally located and very good breakfast! Nice terrace on the roof-top as well!

We just loved the Almadraba of Conil. The plants of the calm interior patio, the decoration of the stairs and the walls with fishing items of this area of Cadiz, dedicated to tunafish, the roof terrace and buffet breakfast, every day with a different touch!!! The staff is ready to help you at any time, and you just feel like being at home, your new andalusian home. Located in the heart of this white little town , we are just willing to come back as soon as possible. Thank you so much for everything

We had been in Conil last year and had noticed the Almadraba on our wanderings around the heart of the old town. It draws you in so it was an easy decision to choose to stay here on our return visit this year. Its position is exceptional - it is central to everything. First things first: arriving by car is quite stressful as you have to drive into a pedestrianised area and then quickly drop off luggage outside before going off to park the car elsewhere. I'd highly recommend the hotel car park which is a couple of minutes' walk away. It costs about €8 a day - and is well worth the money. The Almadraba is charming, as others have said. It's not the best equipped nor the most modern but it oozes character and all the staff are completely lovely. Special mentions must go to Claudia who looked after us on arrival and Ines Rubio, who works in the restaurant at breakfast time and was efficient, friendly and ever-smiling. I suspect no two rooms are the same but ours was a junior suite on the first floor, which came with a separate lounge area, complete with TV, fridge etc. We had some issues with the air con in the bedroom (which would be an issue at the height of summer) and also found the TV reception to be a bit patchy - but I'm sure they've been fixed now. Overall, the rooms are very comfortable. Good value overall, I'd say. Breakfast was good - plentiful and with the buffet being replenished throughout the service. Conil is a late town - we found ourselves slipping in to Spanish habits and not eating at night until about 11 - so it was great that breakfast was served until 11 in the morning. We found lots of good restaurants nearby and the hotel was very helpful with recommendations. Conil is very good value for eating and drinking! The roof terrace is really nice: it has plenty of space and great views of the town and the coastline. It also has a plunge pool jacuzzi which was great for cooling down. You can also hang out your towels and swimming kit to dry up there. So, I'd highly recommend the Almadraba if you're looking for good value accommodation that offers exemplary service at a good price and scores highly in most respects.
