A CHARMING HOTEL WITH ANDALUSIAN ESSENCE The Playa de Regla Hotel premises are located in a recently remodeled family home in early 20th Century Andalusian-style architecture, maintaining intact its period charm as well as its exclusive Elizabethan overall décor. This is an exclusive hotel for those who enjoy good taste in peace and restfulness. If you’re the type of person who shuns cool and impersonal hotel service, you will find in our hotel a warm human environment and customized service of a high level of excellence. A PRIVILEGED LOCATION THE HOTEL BOASTS A PRIVILEGED LOCATION ON THE VERY BEACHFRONT, just at the point in the Paseo Maritimo linking the Chipiona Lighthouse with the Virgen de Regla Sanctuary. From our ample roof terrace, our guests can enjoy unforgettably beautiful sunsets, sipping a coffee, quietly reading a book or chatting with friends, making for an unforgettable sensory experience.

    Good location
The best thing about this hotel is its location. Directly beach front on some of the best beaches of the Costa de la Luz. We stayed here a few years ago, and as the town has very few good hotels, decided to return. Previously they were in the middle of renovations which meant a change in the breakfast and terrace area. Unfortunately there have been no upgrades to the bedroom facilities excepting instillation of air conditioning, which is now a legal requirement in Spain. The rooms are tired, very dated, although spotlessly clean. Breakfast was adequate.
Dear Penninelass, We appreciate your taking the time to give us an assessment of your stay. Please send an email with those improvements that you think are necessary in our rooms for your stay would have been perfect. For us it is very important to know the improvements that our guest need. If you go back to our town, please call us.

Not bad but cheaper deals around
I'm in a single room and it is on the small side but I'm a small person so not that fussed! Its a good hotel although slightly expensive even though its on the beach. Being able to see and hear the surf is very relaxing! (not got my head round this yet) and as usual the staff are good. Breakfast is OK although the coffee is very only adequate. (Tip: I mix two espressos with hot milk and that's closer to what I want) In short you could do better but you can certainly do worse! Being on the beach is very nice!

    a Spanish seaside hotel
A small and clean hotel in a quaint Spanish seaside town. Mainly Spanish Tourists (very little English or German tourist - great!). Very helpful staff, who gave us a different room in order accommodate WiFi reception. Gay friendly. Lovely terrace, enjoying a drink in the shade overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Breakfast: distinctly average.

I stayed here for two nights with my partner, his parents and two friends. It has been perfect. The rooms, three doubles with sea views, are spacious, clean, with comfortable beds and shutters against the sun. The breakfast buffet was extensive in selection and of good quality and the view of the beach from the breakfast room and the bedrooms is perfect. You have to walk all of 2 minutes to get into the sea and a wealth of restaurants and bars are a short walk away. We will definitely be back. The only shortfall, if I had to pick one, was the bar underneath, which meant it was slightly noisey at bed time but, in honesty, it was great to have a bar so close and you could still hear waves over the impromptu spanish guitar playing in the bar.

Although the rooms tend to be quite small, it is a very clean hotel. The staff is excellent and will do anything they can for you. The view of the ocean from the patio is magnificent. The Trinity Irish Pub is on the lower level, which has many different beers and spirits.

Decorated in what you could call "Spanish baronial" style (lots of dark wood and faux old master paintings), this is a solid hotel situated about halfway between the church and the lighthouse, directly in front of the best beach in town. Our room was spacious and elegantly appointed, with a teensy balconette and a fab vista of the sea. Breakfast was OK, though not quite up to the standard of the rest of the hotel (avoid the coffee!) - however it was taken in a lovely room with huge windows that made the most of the seafront view. Staff were a little gruff but helpful, and the terrace was a great place for en early evening sherry after a strenuous day lying on the beach...

No nonsense hotel right on a beautiful beach with a very friendly staff. Decoration in Andalusian style. Rooms were recently renovated and have A/C. Car park behind the hotel, wireless internet. Ask for a room with view on the beach.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last two years when visiting the Jerez MotoGp. It is an excellent hotel in a perfect location on the beach front. The whole hotel is very clean and beautifully presented. The town becomes a lively party town over the MotoGp weekend and is a lot of fun. Can't wait to come back next year.

As we made our way to the departure gate to fly to our holiday stay here, I received an e-mail on my phone sayong that the hotel had decided not to open yet for the year! we had booked and received confirmation messages weeks before. Yes, they had made an alternative arrangement for us which proved quite acceptable but I had reserached which hotel I wanted and it was the one I booked. This is quite unacceptable and I urge all interetsed in staying here to beware of a hotel which thinks this sort of thing is OK.
