We paid less than £10 per night. It was basic, with the option of hiring lots of things that perhaps you might expect to be as standard. - hire a kettle, hire a toaster, hire a sunbed, hire a TV. We stayed in 2008, however...More
This was a cheap getaway all inclusive so wasn't expecting a plush place, but oh boy it was dirty in the communal areas around the pool. The tables had ancient scum embedded on them. No ashtrays anywhere to be seen, so cigarette ash was mixed...More

The hotel was well situated in the heart of Portimao, the beach and shops were just 5 minutes away. Our room was large and spacious with fridge and cooker. We had the most beautiful view looking out over the estuary, sunsets and sunrises were stunning. The hotel was a little tired and dated but we found the staff to be polite and helpful, the rooms were clean, food was ok and the salad was always plentiful, you could always manage to eat something. The beer and wine were nice, spirits drinkable. The pool was lovely and as you paid for sun beds there were always empty ones. Make the most of your holiday, it's a beautiful part of the world.
