This is a fine little hotel, located just outside the local city. It is quiet at night, we slept well and the room was spacy with a nice view from the balcony. The receptionists were very friendly and probably the only ones around speaking English. While it is probably a great place to stay during high season we found that it wasn't up to the job during low season. Breakfast was limited compared to the pictures we saw on the website, and fair enough that they don't prepare a lot of food for a couple of rooms. But we were missing a toaster, fresh fruit, maybe some yoghurt, jam, honey, different kinds of food that can be put back to storage if unused. The waitress didn't speak English and they haven't discovered that a small checklist in English, with various items to be prepared when ordered, can go a great distance towards breaking the language barrier. One morning we were greeted in Polish and shortly after handed two plates of scrambled eggs. The next morning it was two boiled wieners - luckily we weren't vegetarians. It seemed like the Polish visitors got to choose and our waitress didn't even bothered to try asking us. Since it is a spa we booked a massage for each of us and because of low season we could only get consecutive treatments. At least the masseuse had a post-it with the absolute necessary sentences in English she needed during our treatment. If you speak Polish and like to have the place all by your self during low season, then this is the place for you. We were greatly disappointed. …
Hotel is situated on a very quite place with forest around. It's like 2.5 km to the city center. Breakfast very good and tasty, plenty to choose from. Coffe is instant but you can request expresso. Rooms nothing special. I would not give this hotel more than 3 stars, never 4. For sure it is not 4 star hotel. Bathroom very clean. We try also message in hotel's spa and it was really great.
Firstly it's a very affordable hotel - when looking at accommodation, food, spa etc. Then, owners and staff really make you feel welcome and at home. Great views over mountains. Standard rooms are really simple but spacious and very clean. Breakfast i included, we took dinners: great variety of dishes, sides, teas etc. Very decent wifi.Even though spa offer on the website wasn't up-to-date, we got some excellent treatments anyway. One minus - it's outside Krynica centre, on a hill, so a car is indispensable (or taxi). 20 mins walk to the bus.
We were by motorbikes, welcomed very friendly, our motorbikes were given shelter as well. Hotel is located outside city, but close to. Good road leads to it and it's surrounded by woods and grassland, location is perfect!!! Breakfast was tasty and no rush, even if we came there in last minute. The most important thing - owners and staff are very _truly_ friendly and helpful, that's why I consider this place as having good vibrations. Unfortunately cannot tell anything about SPA, hope to check it next time. WiFi in restaurant, for me enough, I was there to rest not to spend time online.
Our biggest problem was in finding the Resort. It took more than an hour - and the GPS wasn't helpful. We complained - but the language problem didn't help. When we left the next day - they were installing a large sign board. But you do have to drive past the town, and it still isn't easy to locate. We got a beautiful room on the top floor (good elevator) with a view, and about 10 Polish Language TV stations. Breakfast was more interesting than most - with some great local foods to try. So - it's well worth the search.
