1) In every (even non-star Hotel) you can expect, that if an employee harass a guest (like happend that he offered a "private" massage) that he get fired.... Not here ... no reaction for 3 days, than apologize with asking not to public this... not seriously, because the employee was still seen in Hotel and given even the same Sport Courses... 2) Uncomfortable Organisation: Nice to have a pool, but closed from 3 - 4 p.m. at best time after skiing? Very nice coffe-bar, but closed from 5-7 p.m.? Nice fire-side Lounge, but Closes at 10 p.m.? 3) low Standard: Wellness half useable (one special shower not working; ice-production for Sauna not working, Indoor Whirlpool not cleaned / stinky), outdoor pool got Service 2 trimes a week during opening hours, so ou cannot use for 1h), Room need urgent renovation (are not even 2-star-standard) and isolation of walls ... 4) To be fair: Very good Location and very good Food!…
We are travellers that have travelled extensively throughout the world but our stay at Pegaz hotel I Krynica was exceptional in a very negative way. Pegaz Hotel,in Krynica where we stayed for two nights 11-13 August claims that it is a four star hotel. This rating is absolutely fictitious and false. Besides, the breakfast which was decent, the room was very hot and small without air-conditioning or a ventilator; the furniture and carpeting were seedy, wore out and old. The beds uncomfortable , narrow and low like those in youth hostels. The drainage in the showers was blocked so we had to stand in water while showering and the one small elevator smelled awful. Only one morning during our stay did a receptionist speak English at all. Four star hotel??????? However, what is much more serious is the horrible management of this establishment which is inefficient, unprofessional and completely ignores the needs of its clientele. The first example is the room which we were given. We explicitly asked in our booking for a quiet room as we are an elderly couple. We were given a room a few meters from a public terrace where people sat, drank and smoked till late in the evening. The next example is something we have not experienced in all our travels. We left the hotel on the 13th. Aug. and when we reached Krakow my wife realized that she had left her phone at the Pegaz hotel. We immediately emailed and phoned asking them to send the phone to Krakow as soon as possible as we were staying in Krakow for three nights. All our mails and the telephone calls made by the receptionists in the Alexander Hotel to the Pegas were answered with refusals by the management of Pegaz to send the phone to Krakow saying that I had to arrange the courier myself ( which I tried to do but was told that they do not work with private people.) On our last day in Krakow someone in the Pegaz management must have come to an understanding of how incredibly badly they had acted and instead of excuses and even lies they had previously made, finally offered to send the phone by post to Prague where we were leaving Europe in a few days. But now there was not enough time to receive the phone and I felt I could not rely on their word so on our last day in Poland we had no choice and drove about between 5/6 hours from Krakow to Krynica and back to Krakow and then left for the Czech republic incurring expenses and wasting a day of our holiday This is unacceptable for any management of any hotel to act in such a way.…
Located just next to the ski lift, all rooms with an excellent view and well maintained, the cuisine is not bad at all and the swimming pool, steam room and sauna with a good standard! The kids loved the hotel and for sure we will be back soon Highly recommended
