The hotel perfectly combines a warm retro character with modern-day comfort.
Clean, cosy, quiet rooms in 3 categories, standard, premium and suites, all very good. Look at the reproductions of Tamara Lempicka paintings in your room and in the lounge! Enjoy the full, lavish breakfast served by polite, professional staff. Relax with coffee and sweet in the atmospheric lounge bar, with live music in the evening, or have an excellent dinner in the restaurant.
Various spa and cosmetics services.
Central, convenient location in order to move around Krynica.
Admittedly an unforgettable stay!

We spent 24 hours in Krynica and were so pleased that we went there as a quick trip from Slovakia and particularly happy that we stayed at the Malopolanka. The hotel is right by the River Promenade, an attractive and lively area of Krynica. We initially had difficulty finding the hotel car park (which is just behind the hotel off the main road) but were advised by a very helpful young lady at reception. Our room on the top floor (3rd level with no lifts/elevator) was very clean, comfortable and full of Art Nouveau character. We had a very good meal in the restaurant and the entrance/bar/café area was buzzing with lots of people listening to a very good singer. Definitely good value with very friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast.

This hotel makes you feel like you are in an Agatha Christie movie. Lots of charm, architectiral features, and a great staff. It is right off the promenade, right in the middle of all the old hotels.

We were lucky as they were hosting some local musicians who were fantastic. Nice spa in the hotel. Good food at their restaurant.

A real gem.

The hotel has a brilliant central location on the town's main promenade which makes it pretty easy to find plus every taxi driver will know it as its one of the old original buildings. The interior is cosy and nice and the room we stayed in was very spacious and light. The personnel are all very helpful and try to go out of their way to make you feel welcome and try to answer all questions. There is free wifi everywhere and hotel also has a lovely spa whcich offers some great massages. All in all this was the best three star place we have stayed in and we felt it was so much more. The hotel restaurant offers some local specialities which were very nice and great value. The only problem is that the restaurant closes at 8pm so this could be a problem particularly in the summer when days are longer and people tend to return later from the daily activities. We were here in January for the skiing so perhaps they will change this. I would also recommend updating the welcome pack so that it gives more information about the hotel and the surrounds but failing that the information centre has guides in all languages whcich we found to be very helpful.

Gem of Krynica! Pros - Plenty of character, excellent location (although as the main building is located on the Boulevards, the parking access road is quite tricky to find), very friendly bar tenders serving variety of coffees and wines in the lounge area (open to public, worthy to call by even if you live in the different accommodation), buffet style breakfast in the restaurant with really plentiful choice of Polish and international dishes (abundant choice from continental to very traditional menus). On-site ski rental (about 0.5 mile to the nearest slopes with lifts and about 2 miles to the ski-park).
Cons - in spite of being quite a family retreat there is no play room or shared area for children to entertain themselves. It is not a problem when weather is good (so much to do outdoors), but I can imagine a converted basement with table tennis, football or pool table would make all the difference

A charming, very comfortable 1920's hotel,it is right in the centre, good for exploring the town and walking the woodland paths. There is a very comfortable lounge (important as the weather was not perfect for evening strolling!) the lounge and the hotel is decorated with lots of paintings and antique furniture. There is a wide choice of good restaurants within walking distance. A place we would certainly visit again.
The room was very comfortable with a balcony.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our stay.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
The staff are very helpful and pleasant .

We eat at the restaurant and the desserts were very tasty and filling, with delicious tea to accompany the desserts.

The staff were friendly and this provided a very relaxed stop on a sunny walking day.

Well placed in the town, besides the small stream that runs through, the summer atmosphere was just what we needed.

Just had 4 nights, off-season in Krynica. Chose to stay at this hotel because of reviews on Trip Advisor, good traveller common sense and intuition! Pensjonat Malopolanka is super central, quiet, and has all the historic, bohemian class you would expect in a historic spa town. The staff are ever-so helpful, all very pretty too! Rooms are dated - but in the good way. Beautiful wooden floors, high ceilings, terraces, tall window, comfortable squeaky beds. This is authentic Krynica. A Hotel with soul, heart, and charm. This hotel gives you the best of Krynica, not the communist architecture vibe of some of the other hotels/sanatoriums, and also not the 1990's awkward "modern" hotels you can also find in the area that try to be americanized. This is the hip, boutique continental Krynica. A hotel that reminds you of former elegance, romance, and when important travelers came here to get away from it all! So: practical things...Internet works fine, Breakfast is generous, tasty, served in the charming restaurant. Bar and lounge areas very pleasant to sit in, especially by the window people watching. Parking possible above the hotel, and you are right in the middle of town, with a good nights sleep. Prices not bad either. Will definitely return and thoroughly recommend. Perfect place to get away from it all!

I brought a walking group (16 people) from the UK and we spent 3 nights here in early Sept 2017. What a lovely hotel, full of charm and 1920s character (someone has already mentioned it's like being in an Agatha Christie novel). Great food, excellent service throughout the hotel (smiling, helpful, very good English). Cosy public spaces around the foyer. Large rooms, each one different. No lift, but it is a 3* hotel. Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back here.
