I brought my family here for a week of skiing. I regularly travel to Poland because of my Polish roots but this was a first time ski trip to Poland for my daughter, son-in-law and husband, who are more used to skiing in France and Austria. They have really enjoyed their stay. Rooms are clean and well presented. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast, the staff friendly and obliging. Ski school was easy to organise for my grandchildren. I have been particularly impressed with the hotel driver, who is always punctual to take us up to the ski slopes. The reception staff were also very obliging when my husband lost my laptop. They rang round everywhere possible until we were able to locate it on the ski bus! My only small gripe are the very high prices in the hotel shop compared to prices outside of the hotel. Otherwise a great stay, and alternative to the usual European ski resorts that we Brits frequent. The thermal baths have been a treat, especially as access is from the hotel.…
We've spent three nights at the Hotel Bukovina and couldn't be happier! The room was large, with expansive windows facing the woods, with plenty of sunshine in the afternoon. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was very stylish. The spa was accessible from he hotel and consists of multiple warm water pools (I lost count!), three large ones of which are outdoors. Incredibly relaxing. We were a 10 minute drive from the Tatra mountains so it was absolutely lovely to be able to soak in warm water after a few hours hiking. The buffet breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard, with a large selection of high quality foods. I am SO happy we decided to stay here and would love to have the opportunity to be back again in the future!
The hotel is really on a very high standard. Very clean. Staff is attentive. The Club version is worth buying - it has lunch and dinner, as well as free spa massages, somme extra drinks, etc. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The spa and swimming pools are amazing. The breakfast is more than awesome, multiple choices, like in the world best hotels. It is my fifth stay during these 2020 summer holidays - and first in Poland - this breakfast is unbeatable the best in comparison ti Tuscany, Mykonos 5 star hotels. I will be back for sure.
Love this place for the greatest service, cleanest spa ever, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. No issues with a parking place. What’s more? Great location, good restaurants nearby. Although quite pricey this place is worth to visit!
We had a lovely experience in the Hotel and I would like to start first with the negative part, before adding the good things. What is a little bit a pain are the lifts. For the whole Hotel, 8 Floors, there are only 2 Lifts and they are also used by staff like cleaning ladies and luggage service, so it was sometimes not fun to use them but that is a western world problem ;) We did enjoy the stay. A nice Hotel not too big with the following: - Generous underground Car Park - Fantastic friendly Staff - Allowance to bring dogs - Good Food - Thermal Baths (connection through the Hotel) - Ski renting in the house for a good price much more... We did enjoy our stay and were happy to be able to bring the dog. The location of the Hotel is not far from the Main street but still quiet. A big underground garage for the cars with lots of spacious car parks. Room was big, clean and full of light. A nice modern bathroom with a specious shower. We had included breakfast and dinner and were very happy with the food. It was fantastic and diversified. It had for every taste something including fish, meat and vegetarian. We did like, that for the dessert you had to move to another room with a bar and seats, where you could enjoy your sweets and therefore make space for other guests. We never had to wait for a table and it was a great experience. The thermal baths could be reached through the lower level and you did not need to leave the building. I also enjoyed a massage and we got passes for skiing I think 2 hours per day for free which was sufficient for us and we did enjoy that also. The hills for skiing are only around 5 Minutes by car and great for beginners. If you have kids and a dog, don't hesitate and go for the Hotel. We had a fantastic time and would/will go again. Besides the lift, there was nothing negative and therefore we did enjoy our week and relaxed and were unhappy to leave. We could have stayed another week without any problems.…
I spent the new year in Poland. the hotel is large, clean, staff friendly. Only part of the staff speak english but everyone wants to help you. The food is very good although it is only a Swedish buffet. It is very diversified. They also have a children's area where they can play under supervision. The hotel is very close to the ski slopes. The hotel also has a Spa which is very large and clean. Parking is underground and included in the room price.
Stayed at the Bukovina Hotel in August with my family and my brother's family. We decided to upgrade to the Bukovina Club and got bigger rooms and access to a separate pool and saunas only for Club members. My brother stayed there before and he recommended this place for our short vacation. We all loved it, my 6 year old son keeps asking when we will go back. The thermal pools are awesome, beautiful views, very peaceful and relaxing. The food buffet was fantastic in terms of selection and quality, we enjoyed the meals a lot. Used the spa for facial and had a great experience. Really liked the steam sauna, it was my favorite. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back.
Clean, modern hotel with great facilities. Food was excellent. The breakfast buffet had the most extensive range of items that I have ever seen in any hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely visit again.
I really loved this hotel and found it extremely peaceful, clean, and a great value. The food was wonderful-fresh squeezed juices, modern decor, great views...The rooms are well equipped, clean, fresh decor, modern finishes with local touches. Spa and access to pools are on the -1 level and not well marked-follow the unlabeled hallway to the left of the “Active Bar”. Pools are pristine and modern-indoors and outdoors all with varying temperatures. There is a sauna/stream room area-that is “all nude” however everyone wears a thin towel to cover up except when taking a cold plunge. It is not nearly as weird as it sounds. The massage services are well done and reasonably priced-the Highlander Massage/scrub is wonderful. The hotel was running an off season special (early June) that included room, breakfast, and all pool access. It was very reasonable and with less people extremely enjoyable. Even the hotel staff admit that during ski season and in July/August all the area hotels get extremely busy and a bit raucous. If you can go in May, June or September the weather is beautiful, the price is right, and the hills are alive...…
The rooms are average and you cannot get a decent queen bed or similar. The food is good and the location is good, but only a few top floor rooms have a nice view. The staff is nice and polite but also quite inefficient.
