during our stay, the reconstruction works were in progress but not copleted. The indoor pool was closed. The full board services were in order. A night walk was very restricted, guarded officers limited the free movement.

Disappointing experience for two weeks, all-inclusive. The hotel is in mediocre condition (the pictures online are embellished and do not reflect the poor quality of the rooms and interior in the hotel). A few examples: - the food served is 90% the same for every meal. Nothing is gourmet nor well presented - just canteen style. - the cleaning ladies are noisy from 8h30 and knock at your door way too early. - the hotel does not organise any activities, games, outdoor activities ... despite the pictures online - the rooms do not seem to have been refurbished. Bathrooms are tiny and of poor condition. - the price for all-inclusive guests is too high given the experience, the hotel condition and quality of the hotel overall. -the temperature of the indoor pool water is very cold meaning very few guests are using it. Same for the showers near the larger pool. We booked for two weeks, all-inclusive in August based on the internet pictures but as soon as we saw the exterior of the hotel, our rooms, the canteen-style food... We thought we got ripped off.

The hotel was partly under renovation in the reception facilities an in some floors. In those areas it was dirty, and noisy. Our room was recently renewed and OK. But when the work in a floor below our room started, with shouting and drilling, we were awakened at 7 the first morning, I had to get up and get to the reception and complain. The next morning we then were awakened at 7:55 although the manager supposedly told the rehabilitation workers to start later. And so on every morning. The hotel didn’t inform about it being under renovation. Neither did they inform that there is no pool at the hotel (closed). The hotel had found a good replacement, we could use the very nice pools in the nearby hotel. The restaurant is very oldfashioned but OK and served OK food, maybe the best part of the hotel. The beach is there, of course. But not many use this as a place to swim, since the long beach is very shallow. The hotel should have been closed down during this period of renovation. Or they should at least warn all booked guests that it is a hotel under renovation. The pic is from the terrace outside the restaurant

We recently checked into the Olympic Hotel in Ulcinj, we had booked an apartment and stayed for a week. The hotel itself is a little dated in terms of its look and feel but the rooms were recently upgraded and the apartment we were in was good and comfortable. The staff at the hotel are very nice and friendly and the hotel is located close to a beautiful stretch of beach which is directly accessible via the hotel grounds. Facilities in the hotel are ok, the place is generally fairly dated, but we came for a family end of summer beach holiday and that is what we got. The Hotel has a pool which the kids enjoyed and was nice enough located indoors. The major downside of this hotel was the food included with the room, the night we arrived the food was included in our room rate on a half board basis, apparently there is no option to have room only (we were told this when we asked to cancel the food after the first day). We were offered fish or a Beef Goulash and rice, which is fine but the beef was fairly fatty and the rice poor quality. The following morning the breakfast was very very poor, fried eggs piled on top of each other in a steel dish, cold cuts (fair enough), butter, jam , honey (all great) but sadly stale/ hard bread rolls and slices which is such a disappointment in Montenegro where the bread is generally beautiful. The pay as you go restaurant in the hotel is great, so very disappointing that the half board food is awful, seems a bit cheap and nasty. Sad as dining in the region is generally one of the highlights of a holiday in the Balkans, Better food would have made this a good review, location is good , beach is amazing, hotel basic but fine, food is a let down!
