Serego Alighieri’s Possessioni have belonged to descendants of the Poet Dante since 1353. Visiting them is a dip into the history of a noble family that has passed down a passion for wine and the land for 21 generations. The Foresteria includes eight apartments decorated in smart country house style, complete with kitchens and air conditioning, and views over the park and the estate vineyards. The visitor experience is completed by the wide selection of fine wines on offer, including Amarone, and a Cooking School where guests can try their hand at the preparation of local foods and judge the right wine pairing. Surrounded by the green hills of Valpolicella, just a few kilometres from Verona and Lake Garda, the Foresteria Serego Alighieri is a haven for food and wine lovers, as well as visitors who appreciate the tranquillity and charm of a rural setting.
