Great place to visit for an excellent wine tour, very good wines to taste and wonderful views. Our host, Francesco, was very accommodating and allowed our large group to relax and enjoy the wines. My favorite is the Phicule which is a medium-bodied red wine aged 2 years and reflects the terroir of the land here which was once under...

We had the loveliest visit here on my birthday in 2015. We were able to sample the wine with lunch in front of a fireplace in a small private dining room. There was only one other couple dining. They served delicious pasta with white truffles that their dog Tartuffe had found on site that morning and they surprised me with...

Tenuta Vitalonga is I believe now in its third generation being started by the current owner's grandfather. Set on hilltops overlooking a valley this estate produces red wines and a rose. We arrived during picking so the place was busy but had the advantage of seeing the picked grapes being separated from the stalks and taken into the presses. The...

While staying in Umbria we dicovered this beautiful place via Tripadvisor. We came there without any reservation and got table with wonderful view of the countryside. Menu consisted of five courses, all excellent, fresh, with regional ingridients and flavour. Alongside we tasted 3 different wines - white, rose and red. At the end we had grappa and sanbucca. We were...

We drove from Orvieto to the winery after making reservations. We were given a tour of the winery by Pier Francesco Maravalle, one of the two brothers who own the family winery. Francesco gave us a tour of the winery, explaining how his family started it, brands of wines, principally reds, where and when they harvest the grapes, the showed...

What a peaceful retreat after the bustle of Rome on our way to Florence. This family run winery is a true treasure. Our private tour and lunch under the wine covered arbor is a treat our whole family will remember. We currently live 2 hours away from Napa, Ca and have enjoyed many fabulous private Napa/Sonoma private wine tours but...

My Wife and I saw a sign for this Vinyard while we were driving through Umbria, and it was the best stop of our trip to Italy so far. We drove down a long dirt road to a Vinyard that has been around for generations. We tasted the regions best Reds, whites, and Rose's. We were fed an unreal truffle...

This vineyard is absolutely picturesque. We took the long way to Rome and were looking for a cute place for lunch. Thankfully this place of business had a nice webpage and tripadvisor posting to ensure it caught our attention. They happened to be open on a sunday for lunch...the hours are flexible I would say. When we arrived, the grounds...

My family and I visited here for a short tour and a lunch with the wine tasting. Everyone enjoyed the visit. The tour was informational, and Pier (the guide) was very patient with our questions about their process, history, etc. The lunch was 5 courses with a different wine from their vineyards. Each dish was absolutely delicious, and the wines...
