Villa Mangiacane is a one of kind. Its location is unbeatable, service is on point and the grounds are breathtaking. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because when we checked in, we were told the main Villa, which you see online and on the website and think you are staying in, was rented out all...

The villa is conveniently located with a picturesque view of Duomo and the infamous Tuscan green hills. All the staff at the villa were cordial and very hospitable. I attended the cooking class with Chef Francesco Lagi. We were a group of 7. We drank the wine from the villa's winery, learned to make pizza, a few different pasta dishes...

This villa is gorgeous. I can't say enough good things about it. I don't even know where to start. The rooms were fabulous! We had a 4-poster King-sized bed and it was incredibly comfortable. The sunken tub was so nice & the separate shower was great. Every day they had turn down service or brought us a little treat -...

We stayed for a week and decided as it was 12km from Florence but not only. It was really quiet and romantic place. The breakfast was superb and really well serviced. The hotel had a good pool, poolside bar and restaurant and comfort sunbathing chairs. We had a really great stay by all standards.

Simply spectacular! The villa is awesome, the staff is first class and the location can't be beat. Mangiacane was our home for our best week ever in Tuscany. The highlight was the cooking class which was so much fun.

My husband and I stayed at Villa Mangiacane for 2 nights in late October. What a spectacular place! The villa, the grounds, the service – everything was to our full satisfaction. I had read some of the diverging reviews on tripadvisor before booking, but I am happy to say that we had a perfect stay. We stayed in a deluxe...

We stayed here with a group of friends in October. Although the weather wasn't to our advantage we were able to make the best of our trip with day tours to Florence. The rooms were luxurious and the staff did everything possible to make sure everyone was taken care of. We will certainly return to visit someday!

Beautiful old world chic and charm, amazing setting, service and rooms. Unforgettable holiday. Our room wasn't ready so we were upgraded to an amazing split-level suite. The surrounding countryside and view of the vineyards is classical Tuscan beauty. Service amazing, lovely staff (except for one rather cursory guy at breakfast). Breakfast offering rich and varied. housekeeping the only fault, the...

We stayed for about 10 nights in August 2015, having previously stayed here in 2007. The web site advertise pools (plural), and shows many photos of the amazing villa, and eg the indoor spa pool and the shaded pool by the villa. When we stayed this year the villa was rented out for the duration of our stay, therefore both...
