Total hidden gem and wildly underrated! Hope to be back again soon! A real dream in every way. The main villa is exceptional but the annexe is nothing to be scoffed at either. All in all a superb vacation

Me and my husband chose Villa Mangiacane for our wedding last september. I can’t praise this place enough, or thank them for making our wedding the most spectacular dream come true. The service was truly outstanding, Angelo (hotel manager) is the most present, dedicated person i’ve encountered at a hotel. For our wedding, we stayed a week in the Villa and never had an average day. The whole experience was out of this world and we wouldn’t dream of doing one thing differently. Each room has their own uniqueness and beauty to it. The villa is extremely spacious and beautiful. They truly have the best wine i have ever had. We are recurring buyers. It is a perfect place that adapts to any vacation, family, activity. If you are planning your wedding, seeking honeymoon destinations or simply want to vacation in Florence, I can’t recommend this enough. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Located a short 30-minute drive outside Florence, and an hour from Siena the property is located in a cute village with amazing 360 views. The property is very laid back, interactions with other guests are rare and limited - unless you are attending a function. The property is expensive, given the location, limited amenities and dated items in the room, including a stand fan to aid the AC. Our plunge pool also wasn't inviting. We stay two short nights to attend a friend's wedding, which was hands down amazing at the property with the staff and food! Take a walk into the village, Villa Machiavelli is amazing for dinner and reasonably priced!

Well, we had our wedding reception here so we’re slightly biased, but we loved this place as the venue. It’s beautiful and classic without being showy, so you don’t need to do much decor-wise other than add flowers. It’s light and airy, and a brilliant party venue. Its Also a very large location so if you’re having a wedding reception here you need the support of a coordinator who knows well the entire space and a wedding planner. My wedding was something out of a magazine! It was the PERFECT wedding and it's all because of the collaboration betw my wedding planner and the event coordinator Rose who always made us feel as though she had everything 100% under control. I came to her and my wp with a simple idea and they worked their magic and brought it to life.

Mangiacane is stunning as anyone can see from their websites photos. But equal to the beauty of the place is the total incompetence of their management. As part of a large wedding party we prepaid for a luxury suite a year in advance only to find upon arrival that our luxury room had been double booked. After a very long and stressful delay that soured our experience of the day, we were put in a small, unattractive room priced at $100 a night less than the one we had booked. Rather than credit us the full price difference, about $200 for 2 nights, we were offered only approximately $90 total, which at the time seemed low, but I did not have my records with me. After then waiting for over 2 months we were only credited approximately $80. Added to their incompetence I'm afraid I need to question their integrity. It's a shame, because the place is lovely, the service staff are excellent, but beware!
