Stunning location and building. Wine tasting was very informed and interesting. Food thought questionable, our son was sick soon after and as for value, I would rate very poor. Main courses at €20 a dish for the quality that was provided is excessive. Lots of potential in this stunning environment, the food needs to reflect this too.

Florence is such a beautiful place with gorgeous place - amazing scenery, food and wine. We have visited many places in Tuscany and so were very excited to visit friends staying at the Villa Mangiacane today. The villa is lovely with a mix of Tuscan architecture and African sculptures throughout the gardens. After walking round the gardens and swimming in... More

We only stayed for 2 nights and we all fellt it was not enough. We had the supreme room which I would choose again. The poolarea is fantastic and the surroundings FAB! I would recommend to eat along the road, had the best bisteca at a place close by.

I had a great time with my family at villa Machiavelli! There are 10 bedrooms, one private pool and one pool for the whole resort, a spa, and many other amenities. What surprised me about the villa was they had books in the room! They have modern books, so I would recommend going into the rooms and hunting for a... More

Beautiful location in the Tuscany hills! The two villas are surrounded by a vineyard with wine tasting and tours offered! The wine is delicious :) Friendly staff are available to advise and offer assistance.. Would be an amazing wedding venue! It's the perfect getaway!

We are just coming back from a birthday bash that took place in and around Mangiacane. The rooms are nice and very distinct, some in the main palazzo, some in the adjacent building. The people were nice, the food was great and the view terrific (from one suite you can see the Duomo).

We visited here for our honeymoon for 2 nights, and were not disappointed. On arrival, the scenery was dramatic and views from the main building spanned florence and the classic rolling Tuscan hills. The staff were attentive without being in your face. The Terrace Suite was lovely, on two floors with a separate bathroom and large bed. The food was... More

Such an unusual place. Incredible view. Great room! Culture and history everywhere. Ask the cook Francesco for his recommendations and try the meet tartare as a starter. The grand selection wine from the house own vineyard "Z" delicious. Stunning!

Riccardo did an exceptional job with our wine tasting service on May 25th. He spoiled us with his exclusive attention to our tasting and his focus to educating us on his particular wines and wines in general. Kudos to him. The grounds and surrounding area were quite beautiful as well.
