We returned in June to this excellent apartment overlooking Florence. The family are excellent hosts and make the stay a pleasure. Centrally located for exploring Tuscany and close to Florence with excellent links to the city. When in this area we would never stay anywhere else.

The title says it all really. We had a wonderful 5 days here, exploring Chianti country, Florence, Pisa and a myriad of smaller towns and the hilltop villages Tuscany is famous for. At the end of each day, Agriturismo La Canigiana proved a welcome retreat to retire to a and relax infront of a fabulous vista, glass in hand! We're...

We enjoyed our stay in the "Rimessa Apartment" very much: From the balcony you have a great view over the typical tuscany landscape, it's very easy to drive to florence (only 6 km by car and then we used the bus); we enjoyed the big pool for refreshment and the flat is well equipped and clean.

Wow this place is a little gem! Alessandra and her family were amazing and could not do enough for us. We stayed for three nights of our honeymoon and all we wanted was to relax in a quiet area and enjoy some wine. The directions on the website were brilliant and we found it with ease and were welcomed with...

We stayed at La Canigiana for 10 nights during Sept 2013 - and we had a completely brilliant time. Alessandra and Franco are so fantastically warm and welcoming. They were really generous in offering help (on everything from lighting the barbeque, to travel advice) without ever being intrusive. And the Agriturismo is perfectly situated - remote enough to be quiet...

This is a really great place to stay. The location is wonderful, both picturesque and convenient for sight-seeing, the apartment and grounds are very nice, and Alessandra, the hostess, is such a lovely woman. So kind and accommodating, unobtrusive but always available to help and ready with useful suggestions. Our 1 1/2 yr old daughter adored her. Great for children...

This is by far the most wonderful B&B to stay in while visiting Florence and the Tuscany area. It's central location makes it easy to drive no more than 1 hour or so and be in many beautiful areas in Tuscany. Alessandra, Franco and their 3 daughters made our stay even more delightful. Their warm welcome and friendship made us...

This is the third time we stayed in the 'La Rimessa' appartment, and we enjoyed it quite as much as our earlier visits. The stunning view over the hills of Tuscany, the wonderful swimming pool, the warm reception, the homegrown tomatoes, the quiet atmosphere while still being quite close to Florence, it could hardly be better.

“We stayed in 'Il Fienile', the upstairs apartment. At first we were a bit unsure, because this room doesn't have its own terrace next to the house - but it does have its own, really beautiful private patio which is just yards from the front door. The views from there are spectacular - a really peaceful spot. The apartment isn't very big - just a kitchen/diner, bedroom, and bathroom. However, it's light and airy and has everything you need as a base for relaxing and exploring. Beds were very comfy and we slept very well!”
