The location is amazing, on a lovely hill with a wonderful look to the countryside and the see. The silence is what I have appreciated most, it is the right place if you are looking for a relaxing stop. The personnel is very kind and friendly, they are always available to satisfy any needs you have. unfortunately we hadn’t the possibility to try the restaurant but the breakfast was very good. Definitively a place where you have to stop if you are in the area.

I choose this property because of its proximity to Agrigento. The property is beautiful and the ambience very tranquil. Our bedroom, a suite, was large and very attractive. Dinner was delicious as was breakfast. The service is excellent and they were very accommodating in,providing a round trip transfer to the temples of <agrigento on very short notice. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful location and very stylishly decorated but there could be a few improvements. Wi-Fi very slow and breakfast rather uninspiring. Pool could do with a good clean - algae. First hotel we’ve stayed at where room wasn’t made up on second day.

This was the last place of a six place stay and I was sadly the most expensive and most disappointing. The positives are it's beautiful position and the decor of the main rooms. The staff (the few they had) were friendly and helpful.

But it missed the mark for us - the rooms we had smelled of drains when we arrived, pool umbrellas and sunchairs were broken. We arrived for breakfast at 9 on our first day and there were no clean tables to sit at and we had to ask for the food to be replenished and compared to the other hotels we stayed at it was average. The jazucci was empty (but the room spec said it had one), the mini bars were removed in one room and empty in the other.

We had dinner one night which I thought was delicious but by far the most expensive meal we had in italy. I hate leaving poor reviews, especially after covid - but it wasn't good enough and instead of leaving italy on a high we left a bit disappointed. :(

There is a mismatch here with price and expectation.

We stayed one night at Masseria Agnello and despite the facility being absolutely beautiful, sadly the very poor service left our overall image of the place as poor. There seemed to be only two staff running the facility (only one of them seemed to have any experience). They both seemed preoccupied on a private dinner for 10 that they were catering for on the evening of our arrival and did little to offer us much hospitality. We had hoped to dine in for dinner but were told due to the private function they could not assist us, so had to catch a taxi to the nearby town to eat. The pool area was not cleared/reset of dirty dishes/trays after patrons had finished and as a result was not inviting. No help was offered with porting our suitcases from/to the car park to the reception (60m away) or to the room (up a flight of stairs). It was a disappointing stay. The place has so much potential, all it needs is more staff and staff that have an idea of customer service and it could turn around their ratings significantly.

Scam! Since one year we are trying to get our money back. We got charged twice! Alex (the host) told us that we would get it back but have not received any payment. No answers to phone calls or mails since 3 months... Don't book at this hotel! Very unfriendly and not service oriented at all!

We had a wonderful room with a lovely terrace. The whole mansion is a miracle in itself. Best place to stay when you visit Scala dei Turchi and Valley of Temples or Agrigento.
Unfortunately the air-con did not work and could not be fixed during our stay.

This old masseria has been converted to a gorgeous hotel with fabulous views of the Scilian countryside to the sea; it has been interior designed to perfection whilst its staff and service are impeccable. One of the best places we have ever stayed!

Strange place with poor staff and bad judgement in the face of a threatening bush fire. Upon seeking compensation we were blamed for our choice to leave the property in the face of an encroaching and out of control bushfire that was within 100 metres from our room. Before the fire incident we were not treated to good service and made to feel welcome, we ended up lugging our luggage to our rooms ourselves and no sense of hospitality or care was shown. Obviously the owner/management have a very odd view of what it takes to run a successful experience for their guests to ensure sustainable business! I travel frequently and this was a stand out experience and case of appalling guest attitude and hospitality.

This was a wonderful hotel in a great setting. Staff was especially helpful. Alex, the manager, gave us lots of insight into her view of the Sicilian culture and local mores. She also gave us a great lead on a beach front restaurant for lunch - it was great. Alecia was terrific too - even let us follow her into town to meet a distant relative so we wouldn't get lost.
Valley of the Temples is a quick ride away, as are some lovely beach areas. The pool looked inviting but it was a bit too cold in April for me. Everything on site is immaculate and well thought out.
Decor mixes modern convenience while keeping the feel and atmosphere of the setting. We took a room with a private terrace and it was well worth the little bit extra. The lavender and rosemary lined pathways are a fond memory.
Not sure why the earlier reviewer was so negative on the food. We thought it was terrific and quite inexpensive. Before dinner, appetizers are laid out in a sitting room. It's a nice chance to meet with other guests, have some wine, and try some excellent cheese, cured meats and terrific caponata.
There are two first courses and two mains offered each night. It was simple, well prepared and wonderful. Breakfast was a treat - fruits, yogurt, cured meats, bread, and very interesting sweet couscous. And great lattes. It was certainly plentiful.
We had a very different experience than SimpliDrapi with the dining. We are not novice travelers, were very happy with our stay and would enthusiastically recommend Masseria Agnello to other travelers.

Im not the owner . I dont remember the activities they offer . House is located out of everything in the middle of fields . Beautiful countryside . You will need transportation . A taxi from the nearest bus stop (Realmonte ?? Scala dei turchi ?)will carry you in about 10-15 Min
