#7 of 106 Specialty lodging in Monopoli
An old farmhouse surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, a few km from the sea and of the centre of Monopoli. Its location makes it easy to reach all of the interesting sites in the region. The estate started as a typical old oil mill in southern Italy. In fact, you can see the large stone mill, the imposing iron presses, the old troughs and the underground wells for collecting the oil. The rooms, diverse in colour and decor, recall the surrounding Mediterranean plants: olive trees, almond trees, cherry trees, carob, lemon trees, orange trees. All of them have a bathroom with shower, air conditioning – heating, high-speed Internet connection, television, telephone, hair dryer, mini-bar, personal hygiene necessities, furnished private porch, high-quality bedspreads and curtains, in addition to a well thought out common space surrounded by tufa walls and furnished with rocking chairs and sofas. The kitchen offers “revived” traditional dishes and primarily uses seasonal products from the estate, to ensure the authenticity of the courses offered.

Nice, quiet, clean villa. Big rooms, modern furnituri. They should improve the cleaning services as I found sand on the floor and hair in the bed on arrival. Nice hosts and good breakfast. The surroundings are nice but not so green as in the photos.

We stayed on this huge working olive farm in the Autumn half term holiday. Our Tom Tom led us astray and we were lost in the darkened countryside at 11.30 at night but managed to convey our location to our host in my non-existent Italian, who left a packed restaurant to come and

Ok, a disappointing stay at this hotel. We booked one night only thankfully as a stopover. On paper this Agriturismo looks great, don't be fooled. The place is next to a very busy road and we arrived at 4pm after a long drive to check in, we had to wait 40mins for someone to
