We have had the pleasure to stay at Trulivo in June this year. We could not have picked a better place to stay. The location and surroundings are stunning and it is just a few minutes away from Monopoli, Alberobello and other towns. Marco and Carla made us feel really welcome and they paid attention to the smallest details. We have stayed in 'Fig' and the trullo was absolutely beautiful, as well as the large shower. The breakfast was exquisite, every morning Carla made us something new. Marco and Carla also have the best tips on where to go, have dinner, etc. If you really want to unwind from daily life, we highly recommend to stay in Trulivo. You will not regret it! We have really enjoyed our stay and we will be definitely back!

We felt very welcome from the very first minute. The hosts, Marco and Carla, make you feel like home and you can see and feel, everywhere you go, that they take great pride in making your stay at their place an unforgettable memory. The location is simply beautiful, our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. I wouldn't have thought that staying in a Trullo could be so comfy and luxurious. Carla and Marco were even so thoughtful to put a bottle of champagne in our fridge since it was our honeymoon. The breakfast served in the morning couldn't have been more delicious with freshly baked bread and cake (homemade by Carla every single day), fresh eggs from their own chickens and freshly picked fruit from the trees in the garden, not to mention the olive oil that they make themselves as well. We also enjoyed the nice and inspirational conversations and exchange we had with Marco at breakfast. Next time we go back to this part of Italy we will definitely stay at this place again.

This restful inn in the countryside of Pulia was a delightful stay. Marco and Carla are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed playing with Ulysses, their dog, and Gino, their cat. Trulivo is extremely well located to check out Alberobello, Monopoli, and the Adriatic beaches. We also enjoyed meals at nearby countryside restaurants. The trulli everywhere in the country are so charming. Breakfast was wonderful with homemade breads and jams. You can also enjoy a really fresh egg from their chickens. The room was very comfortable and we had such a relaxing stay.

Don't fall for this! Extremely commercial couple, experts in marketing and sales, but otherwise ‘amateurs’, charging the maximum of the maximum, ridiculously high prices for what they but offer, and only offering the very minimum once on site! They call it ‘Trulivo’; ‘true life’, but more correct is ‘true lie, faux’!! 260 € is what they charge for the trullo ‘the fig’, a small trullo with a nice shower but that's all, no other comforts whatsoever, and you get the cheapest possible breakfast they can give, no choice at all, no fruit juice, no cheese nor ham, … only little homemade jam, … and certainly not the beautiful fruit they present on their website, instead 2 small pieces of unripe and tasteless fruit! The room is not cleaned nor the bathroom, and the bed is not made. Even a last-minute price of 183 /n. for this trullo is still way too expensive compared to other honest stays. ‘Tenuta Monacelle’, only 11 km away, offers very spacious and nice superior rooms for only 120 €/n early-booking price; excellent stay with all comfort, extra spacious room and extra-spacious private terrace, in a beautiful domain of no less than 22 ha. A ‘classic room’ costs less and a trullo costs even less! The breakfast buffet is very varied and realy tasty, and the restaurant anyway consists of very beautiful trulli. We also booked a superior room in ‘Torre del Parco 1419’ in Lecce, extremely beautiful and unique stay in this ‘Unesco’ town, for only 190 €/n. for a very spacious and magnificent room with a very large private terrace, excellent breakfast included ... highly recommended! In short, Trulivo is a real tourist trap!

We were staying 5 nights and wished we would have stayed longer. What a beautiful place ! De Trulli are splendid, the surroundings so peaceful, the freshly baked breakfast by Carla was amazing. We were spoiled.
Marco and Carla are really taking care of their guests and Ulysse (the dog) is also taking charge of the PR 😉.

Staying at Trulivo is like staying at a 5 star hotel, this was an unbelievable stay. The rooms are beautiful and had everything as you would expect and more.

I absolutely and enthusiastically recommend this place, it exceeded our expectations. Trulivo is complete with 2 great hosts (Carlos and Carla) who make a wonderful breakfast with coffee of your choice. They also helped us make the most of our trip by recommending great restaurants, best towns to visit and other must see sights in Puglia.

Just go, you will love your stay!

Trulli is a real experience to live in Puglia. The place is really beautiful, we stay in a real Trulli. There are plenty of fruit trees on the farm and the decoration is very elegant. Marco is a great host. Thanks to him, we tasted in excellent restaurants and visited beautiful beaches. The suggestions he makes make a difference in the trip. His wife is an exceptional cook. In the morning, breakfast is served with fresh bread, cakes, eggs, yogurt, fruit and homemade granola. This is the best breakfast I have enjoyed on my travels. In short, an exceptional experience.

Best stay ever!
On the recommendation of family, we stayed with Marco and Carla from Trulivo. They provide fantastic service and make it very personal. Best experience I've ever had! It's absolutely worth every penny, the breakfast is divine too. They make everything fresh every morning and you can order whatever you want.

We had booked two days in this trullo and were pleasantly surprised. Everything was perfect ! A renovation done with great taste. We appreciated the underfloor heating because in March it wasn't very hot. Marco and his wife were particularly welcoming. A very good quality/price ratio with a top breakfast made largely with products from the estate. We were so good that we extended it for another night. We will recommend this address to all our friends.
