Room was in old town of Monopoli, and Maria contacted us prior to arrival to advise on parking etc. Her welcome was incredibly warm and informative, and we were given info on area and offered food and water etc. Room itself was very comfy and spacious. Breakfast was served on the terrace with sea views and was very tasty and... More

Casa Palmieri is a traditionally beautiful Italian B&B with a fantastic owner, Maria. I've stayed here twice now, once in 2014 and then again in 2015. The rooms are wonderful, with stone walls and traditional features. The ensuites are incredibly clean and fresh towels are replenished everyday. Breakfast is filled with fresh fruit, biscotti, cakes, and homemade cappuccinos. Fantastico! Maria... More

My Girlfriend and I stayed at Casa Palmieri for five days in June 2014, and it was such a fantastic holiday we just had to book it again this year, this time we stayed for 8 days. The setting, right in the centre on Monopoli's old town is simply idyllic and very rustic Italian. It is everything an ancient fishing... More

We spent two nights at the Casa Palmieri with a great welcome from Maria who called to make sure she could meet us , help us park and guide us to her home. She was full of passion for Monopoli and gave great tips on restaurants and places to visit . Breakfast was homemade breads, cakes and jams with fresh... More

Really enjoyed our stay in this B&B. Nice room - very clean. Situated in the old city, fabulous location close to the beach, the port and very nice restaurants. Maria is a great hostess and has good english. She was extremely helpful. Can't wait to go back!

In terms of staying in Monopoli, this was a good choice in that it was right in the old city. Monopoli itself doesn't feel like a real tourist city compared to many other places where we stayed. The good part of that is enjoying the character of the city and few tourist shops. The not so good part is that... More

We stayted here last year and among all my experiences in Italy, it was the best. The building is in the very heart of the historical part of the city, the building was renovated not so long ago, the room looked really good, and the bathroom as well. Rooms are not so big, that's true, but they were cleaned every... More

We liked this small B&B, an old building renovated with great taste and attention. It's in the heart of the old city, close to the beach/sea, the port and the restaurants. The host, Maria, is verry nice and friendly. A nice vacation.

You will always rememebr your stay here. First of all the character of the building is extraordinary;800 years old and counting in beautiful soft golden stone, Secondly, the welcome is amazing from Maria and her charming sister Carla who were there in the mornings with fresh bread,Granmas biscuits and Carla's melting cakes ,as well as other goodies. This may well... More
