Guests are met with outstanding service, with staff members frequently exceeding expectations. The hotel's picturesque beachfront location enhances the overall experience, while the serene ambiance, marked by stylish decor and lush surroundings, ensures a tranquil stay. A very well-kept hotel complex awaited us with a beautiful garden, old olive trees, various heated pools and a well-kept beach with an area for adults only.
There is a buffet restaurant, 5 a la carte restaurants and several bars.
The quality of the food and drinks was very high.
Wine lovers will get their money's worth. The option of a wine tasting is recommended.
Many thanks again to Sakis, who helped us have amazing taste experiences. We learned a lot of new things through him.
A special feature of the Ikos Hotels is that you can borrow a Tesla for a day free of charge. It is advisable to reserve the car before you leave.
We can recommend a break in the spa area with a cosmetic or massage treatment. Pure relaxation.
The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They read our wishes from our eyes and fulfilled them, even if we didn't know about them.
We would particularly like to mention:
Anna from the Ouzo restaurant, who always made sure that we felt like very special guests with her warmth and her loving, attentive service.
Vasilis Lyras, who always gave us friendly and competent advice on our wine wishes.
Niki, who was open to every guest and every wish and made sure that we felt comfortable with a radiant smile.
Ceri from the Fresco restaurant looked after us particularly attentively.
Marilena from the lobby bar already knew on the second evening which drinks we had.
Darja from the spa and her team ensured relaxation with cosmetic and massage treatments in a feel-good atmosphere.
Alexandra from housekeeping, as a good spirit, made sure that not only the bathroom and bed were made up, but that a lovingly decorated bedtime treat awaited us.
We would like to express our special thanks to these lovely people. They looked after us in a very special way and made sure that we felt like part of the family.
Thanks again to all the staff at Ikos Olivia.

The only downside for us:
The indoor pool is normally only for adults. In very bad weather, however, the pool is also open to parents with small children until 1:30 p.m.

In the Flavours buffet restaurant, the separation between adults and families with children during breakfast and lunch is very well solved, as there is enough space between families with children and adult couples.

In all other restaurants, the employees tried to seat guests with children and adults without children separately. But unfortunately we were repeatedly disturbed by children running around or screaming.

Ikos Olivia was our choice based on very good reviews and beautiful pictures on www. We booked all inclusive package and we were accommodated in the room in the main building (bungalows were not available).

The size and equipment of the room is great- bathroom although a bit small has all the required facilities. The amenities are of high quality.

The cleanliness of the room is impeccable- the cleaning service visits the room 3 times a day.

The package we took included availability of 6 different a’la carte restaurants as well as main restaurant. The quality and variety of the food and beverages offered in main restaurant is at high level so the a’la carte restaurants that you need to book in advance are not a big difference or advantage.

The environment is great: olive garden that has been carefully enriched with wonderful mediterranean horticulture so smell of lavender, rosemary and other plants is in the air.

This is primarily a family resort but the organization is such that you have designated adults only spaces on the beach, restaurants and pools (that we did not visit once) so the risk of being irritated by toddler tantrums and screams is minimal.
Now the most important part: the service. The resort employees provide highest possible level of service to the guests with the smile. There is sufficient number of employees engaged to make sure the guests get needed attention and a bit more. Every request we had was managed with care and smile and was taken care of in timely manner and with detailed follow up.

The sea in the resort is warm and clean- beach is sandy and the sea in the bay is pretty shallow so it is safe even for inexperienced swimmers. The sun beds are organized in the way there is no crowd ever around you and are comfortable.

The one thing that can be improved is to adjust www pictures of the beach and sea closer to reality. The beach does not have white sand and there is sea weed in the sea (nothing dramatic or scary but this is matter of fact).

Both my partner and I were impressed with the resort and we will most probably return here.

We had such a great time at Ikos: everything from the spotless room, helpful and friendly staff, fabulous food variety (thank you, amazing Artem, for such tasty dishes and making sure guests are 100% satisfied). The resort is perfectly located at the ideal part of the sea-not too deep, clear waters, easy to have kids swim and play. The resort gardens and lawns are a pure joy to the eyes- we often enjoy walks and marvel the plants and flowers. We stayed on the "luxury" side of the resort, our accommodation was very private, comfortable, with easy access to the beach. The resort is very kids-friendly, there were tons of babies and small kids when we were there, schools were still in session in the EU. Thank you to all staff who made our stay so wonderful.

The facility is very well maintained, a lot of attention is paid to it. The food in the themed restaurants is usually cold and not particularly lovingly or nicely prepared. They try hard but I wouldn't recommend it.
The main restaurant is great but you should eat there early or very late otherwise you'll stumble over prams and buggies and won't find any peace there. The staff try hard but they try too hard and are too friendly all the time - a little less would seem less artificial.
The spa area is very dark and also very overpriced for the quality you get there - but you don't have to notice it. There is no promenade outside the hotel - it looks rather bad there. But oh well.
The cat problem has supposedly been solved in the resort because they feed them. But I think there should be water and feeding stations there - but I think that is probably done or is there and we didn't see it. As an animal lover, seeing the misery of the animals really spoils your vacation.

Otherwise the beach is very well maintained but unfortunately swimming is very difficult as the water is full of huge stones. Service on the beach is very fast - unfortunately the snacks are not good and mostly lukewarm on the paths.

I think the rooms are OK. But overall the staff are very nice but the price/performance ratio was unfortunately not right for us but it was quite nice. The evening program was also varied and OK.

5 (aged 6 to 66) of us stayed at Olivia for 2 weeks in early July in 2 ‘deluxe seaview’ rooms. Previously we’ve holidayed at Oceania and Dassia, so our expectations were high.

As travellers via Manchester, we always choose to book with Jet2 and appreciate their flight times and Indulgent Escapes extras, although this time the private transfers weren’t the best n terms of the quality of the minibuses.

We loved the location and internal and external layouts of the resort. All front of house staff were excellent. Our buffet use was minimal as we were fortunate enough to get 13 a la carte dinner reservations and tended to opt for breakfast and lunch in the restaurants too. Didn’t have a bad meal and our beverage requirements were always satisfied. Loved the main pool and the beach (glad we all took beach shoes), adult only areas for 2 of us! We had 2 great days out in the Tesla. Our son made good use of the gym facilities.

However …

Our granddaughter found kids club boring.

Our rooms were disappointing - we’d asked for a high floor and got first floor, the A/C was nowhere near effective enough, housekeeping and mini bar replenishment were hit and miss (apparently because we used the DND sign when we were in the room, but I would have thought their technology could have assisted them knowing when our rooms were empty?).

And as has been said many times before, there is an abundance of children (many of whom aren’t as well behaved as we kept our granddaughter) at Olivia which means it not always as tranquil as many people would like.

Booked IKOS based on reviews for a relaxing luxury break and was not disappointed Olivia lived upto its reputation. Unfortunately the weather did not, so my first key learning would be early May is too soon in the year for this type of break, eating in open air restaurants in jumpers and hoodies is not ideal. We went for the Deluxe bungalow with private pool and the property was exceptional, in layout, quality of furnishing and cleanliness. The pool although not heated did get warm enough on the sunnier days to use, it was cleaned and checked everyday and was a real pleasure to use.
Our deluxe concierge Anastasia gave us a warm welcome and excellent briefing on the resort and amenities and went the extra mile for our requests and outside arrangements. Although this is a family resort there is enough space and facilities to still find relaxing for older couple. The food quality was excellent, in fact the buffet restaurant Flavors is the best of its kind I have ever used and the staff are tremendous in managing the footfall and constantly ensuring excellent presentation and quality. The other specialist eatery’s are also high quality, but that brings me to my only complaint. The 5 specialist restaurants require reservations which can be made via the app Ikos provides, however the app does not function before arrival and by the time we arrived trying to book a suitable time to dine was almost impossible. Thanks to Anastasia we did manage getting to three of the five before 2130hrs which is far to late to dine for us but the system needs some further thought and the app which is quite clunky improved. Entertainment venue Teatro is excellent but not available every night and quality of shows could be higher to maintain the resorts reputation. Maid and room service were excellent, bars welcoming with excellent staff (shout out for (Madeline) in Indigo who had our drinks ready before we even found a seat.
Overall IKOS is an expensive choice but delivered value for money in almost all areas and we will certainly return to an IKOS resort in the future only a little later in the season.

Our stay at Ikos Olivia felt like we were being welcomed by family members at the resort even if we were strangers to begin with. The check in was very smooth with cool towels and aperitif provided to begin the check in process. There was a beautiful fragrance in the lobby which uplifted our senses. Our bungalow room was spacious, secluded and surrounded by greenery which gave us privacy. We enjoyed true Greek hospitality in the various restaurants and bars the resort has to offer with genuine attention to detail, care and professionalism. The resort has plenty of dining options which include Ouzo, Provence, Flavours, Fresco, Anaya and the Garden restaurant. We would thoroughly recommend all the restaurants not only because the food is delicious but there are some of the best people working in hospitality business. We would recommend to do the Ikos local drive experience as we got the opportunity to drive and discover more of Chalkidiki in the comfort of a complimentary Tesla for the day. The beach is very clean and the water is crystal clear around Yerakini. The beach service is exemplary whereby towels and drinks are provided if needed without having to wait by staff. The resort has water-sport activities provided by wake wake and some are complimentary to use for example kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards. We throughly enjoyed paddle boating in the calm sea under the beautiful sunshine. The resort has plenty of beautiful well maintained gardens with lavender, spring flowers, rosemary, oregano, mint, olive trees growing on the property.
Everyday in the morning we started our day with Yoga and this was something we absolutely loved. Ikos Olivia is not a resort but a sanctuary where you connect with your inner self and nature and truly forget the hustle and bustle of the outside world. This all inclusive resort truly feeds your body and soul!
We would recommend to use the Ikos app to help you book restaurant dinner reservations and sports and fitness activities for example booking tennis courts, yoga, pilates etc.
We are still reminiscing our time at Ikos Olivia and would like to take this opportunity to thank the following staff members for making our stay a beautiful memory and for their exemplary service shown to us- Anna, Stella, Karla, Lefteris and Nikoleta from Ouzo; Elena, Batu, Spiros from Provence; George and Miriela from the Potami; Dimitra and Catarina from Flavours; Eres from Indigo bar; Konstantinos our buggy driver; Anna Kalaitzidou from Guest Relations and lastly Chiara our wonderful and gifted yoga teacher. We are already planning our next trip at your resort and are looking forward to another great experience to make new wonderful memories.

Just spent 8 wonderful days at this resort, we went as a family of 8 ages ranging from 64-17 years old.
We had 4 double executive rooms, very roomy and comfortable , daily stocked mini fridge, coffee machine, rooms cleaned daily and turn down bed nightly service, 2 biscuits left on bed nightly, lovely touches.
The hotel and grounds are gorgeous and very well looked after. But it is the staff they make this holiday special, everyone from cleaners to management are so friendly and nothing is too much for them. The pool staff where exceptional especially Stella and the lovely older female lifeguard, our mum needed extra assistance as she found the loungers just too low, they both went out of there way to assist, brought out a higher chair with pillows and towels daily so she would be comfortable and was able to stay by the pool with the family.
Food and drinks were on demand 24 hours and the food was up with the best I’ve ever had.
Can’t express how much we all enjoyed this holiday and how fantastic and accommodating the staff where whilst we was there. Would definitely be going back again and if I could would give it more than 5 * thank you hotel Olivia for making our holiday one off a kind and so memorable.

Myself and our family visited mid July for 1 week we stayed in a deluxe one bed bungalow. We were greeted promptly on arrival and checked in at lounge area given drinks and an overview of the resort. We have been to this resort twice before and it looked just as amazing as I remembered it .
Pros
Our room was ready early it was in block 7 and at the end , lovely and spacious it appeared to be slightly bigger than the standard beachfront bungalow that we have previously stayed in. We spent most of our time at the deluxe pool Elena looking after us each day and remembering our drinks and making recommendations, she really was lovely and friendly . I also had the most amazing massage by a therapist named andreadoniki honestly it was the best massage I’ve ever had !
The staff in this hotel are amazing from room service to turn down to all the bars and restaurants also Alex and Stephanie at the deluxe concierge looking after us each day and helping us with anything we needed . Room service was always hot and prompt never waited more than 20minutes and the room
Cleaned and turned down each night without fail and always to a high standard.

Cons
The only downside to this hotel is the food - the restaurants are not fantastic and we visited them all . The quality of steaks we had in two restaurants were not great and also some of the main meals were not up to the standard that you would expect from a 5 star hotel and for the price you pay to stay here .
Also some of the drinks are inconsistent in quality depending on which bar you go to more so the cocktails . Not a major big deal as you only need to ask and the staff will oblige to any thing you ask for.

I would also like to see more family entertainment if I was to visit again , in the week I visited there was only two occasions were there was anything on in the main theatre after dinner there is nothing really to do in the resort .

Excellent throughout our stay. Great for young families. Food Excellent.
We were travelling with family. There was 9 in total ranging from 1 - 65yrs old.
We all had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Adult Only & children areas were excellent so if you wanted quiet time away from them you can. We embraced it and we were all so well catered for. Accommodating us all in the restaurants with high chair & Step chair, all cutlery provided for the younger members.
Food was all labelled with the allergens in the Flavors which was excellent as we had gluten/dairyfree in our party.
Watersports were amazing to try and the 1yr & 3yr old loved the Pedalo experience. They also had 2 mornings at the Creche which they loved with fantastic staff & our Daughter enjoyed the gym, paddleboarding & Adult Pool whilst they were there.
Husband used the Basketball court daily but lots of other sports on offer. The gym has a good variety of equipment with a lovely outdoor space to use too.
Rooms were of a high standard and cleaned to a high standard. Everything is of a high standard and that is why we have been to three resorts of Ikos now.
You can hire a car to venture out. Apart from a few shops and restaurants outside there isn't much around but we go for total relaxation so it isn't a concern for us.
Would Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed

The indoor pool is part of the spa so I think ‘no’. Tends to be used by the quieter clientele.

Dear Caerie S, We would like to thank you for your question. The weather in October is rather unpredictable and may be changing constantly. It is difficult to predict weather for October 2025, however the average temperature should be between 17-22 degrees during the day and 14-17 degrees during the evening. Please note that it is humid during the nights, and it feels cooler from what it would normally. For your comfort and convenience, all of our swimming pools are heated during the season at a water temperature approximately 27-29°C. Kind regards, Lucie Gruberova Duty Manager
