We are currently staying here and it ticks our boxes the location is peaceful beach and bays about 10 minutes walk and abit further to the main village which has around 7 restaurants.
The hotel has a swimming pool, AC, strong WiFi and a great owner. The drinks are good value and the snacks are perfect, if you are looking for a clean, peaceful part of Greece you cannot go wrong

The resort is located near the main road through Gerakini, so it's easily accessible. The rooms are clean and well maintained. You have everything you need, stove, TV, towels, cutlery, etc. The closest beach is no more than 5 minutes away (next to Sonia resort). The pool and playground are excellent, and the whole area is green and inviting. The owner is easy going and ready to offer local tips and advice. Good for families with children, without being pretentious. Due to the Covid pandemic, there was no food on site, but food delivery is available if you feel like staying in. Tavernas and shops are 15-20 minutes away by foot, or 3-4 by car.

Beautiful place, beautiful people. The place has wonderful views all around. It smells of Jasmin and roses. Plenty of sunbeds and shade, lovely pool. The area is traditional Greek with olive groves for as far as the eye can see. I'll be back one of the nicest places I've been. Recommend the owners fluffy omelettes for brunch and his alcohol generous cocktails

We stay at Sunday Resort in August 2011. Its very peaceful property. The rooms are clean, new and well furnished. There is nice garden with olive trees and good size swimming pool. It have wonderful view to the bay but bit far from the beach. Any way if have car it will not be a problem since you have plenty of good blue flag beaches around. The village Gerakini is very small, quiet almost boring but if you want very, very, peaceful place for your vacation then this is "the" place. At the end i have to mention the owner, Mr.Vassilis Kouyionis is wonderful person always prepare to help you in any situation. At the end of our stay he prepared small gift for my family which we keep even today as good memories of summer 2011.

We stayed in it 11 days last September. Rooms were very clean and well furnished and well decorated. There is a nice pool and a bar downstairs. Perfect see view from the hill with the very nice olive garden all around! Very good location 5 minutes walk from the nice sandy beach, close to local shops and restaurants, very friendly atmosphere and always free parking spaces available. Perfect value for the money! The beaches where you can go by foot are not crowded and sunbed and umbrella can be used for free if you buy something from the restaurants nearby. Also there is enough place to stay directly on the sand if you want. Beach is sandy, clean water and the small children can play safely for about 2-3 meters because the water is not deep. If you are looking for those blue waters from the postcards you have to take the car and go to Sithonia. Regarding the accomodation: very kind owners, clean, spacious rooms, nice view from the balcony. The TV was pretty small but anyway it was not used too much. Every 3 days the sheets/towels were changed + the apartment was cleaned. The cooling unit was properly placed so that both bedrooms and kitchen could be cooled without feeling the air flow over you when sleeping. The pool is properly maintained. Although all the apartments were booked I didn't feel like sharing the pool. There was enough place for everybody and most of the time I felt like I had my own pool. Prices at the pool bar are better than the nearby restaurants and you can also eat something. Of course there are not so many specialities like in a restaurant but for 3-4 days for sure you won't be bored with it. You must try the breakfast(with eggs and sausage) and the cocktails. Have fun!

I stayed there for one week, and I can say a lot about it. The swimming pool was great, our room was clean (yet the walls were too thin, and we could hear our neighbors) and big enough for a baby cot, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking small meals. And the olive trees full of olives when we arrived were just marvelous. However, the village itself is rather dirty, though quiet. The beach isn't very clean either, with cigarettes left all over it. But the sea is nice and that is what compensates everything else.

My wife and I have just returned from a three week vacation in this location for the second year running. We found it very clean with rooms cleaned at least every three days with new bed linen, but more frequently should you require it. Very friendly staff and the bar and snack bar can produce something to suit everyone. The swimming pool was kept spotless and various tavernas are within a fairly short walk. We spent our holidays (2 adults and 3 children's ) at Sunday Resort. Clean, peaceful, money for value and excellent food. Big swimming pool and great view. Gerakini the area which the resort is is a small village in front of the sea. Nice and economic restaurants, 3 bars and many many kilometer of great beach.

first of all we don't serve standard meals but in the snack bar of the complex we do cook some foods and the prices depend on what you want to order.Just to have an idea,a portion of meat(burger,gyros,chicken)costs 7 euros,spagheti 5-6 euros,salads 4-6,50 euros,omeletes 4 euros,pizza 10,00 euros,beers 3 euros,coffee 2,50 euros etc.
There are more places to choose from in the Gerakini area.
