The hotel is on the second line but is very close to the beach.
Good cooker and and tasty breakfast and meals in the restaurant.
Warm personal attention to everyone guest. In one word - lovely hotel.
The reality is that the village itself is ramshackle glory, the hotel is second row and has no visual connection to the sea whatsoever. The pretty thing about the hotel is the two old trees in front of it. The room we had, had a 140cm bed - for 2 people, that is. All night I wondered how the overweight couples would manage with such ordeal. At arrival I noticed some of our fellow guests were on the heavy side. That's why.
We didn't sleep much. The blanket didn't help either. It smelled of wet dog. If you plan to watch TV; bring binoculars. Furniture in the room is basic but adequate. Bathroom very simple, but clean. Shower is mini. The type with the shower curtain that will hug you when you shower. Nowhere to hang up the shower-end, so you will be holding the shower with 1 hand and washing yourself with the other.
At arrival we were welcomed by the chef, award winning, according to the web site of the hotel. He was very friendly and gave us some tips of where to go and what to see. That was nice. What was not so nice is that he told us that the restaurant opens at 15.30 for lunch. We were happy we had already eaten that afternoon. The same evening we had dinner in the restaurant. Fish from the grill and a salad. Was ok. Nothing fancy, but honest food. The other tables ate eggplant with minced meat. Looked good.
Breakfast the other day was budget. Starts at 8 at the earliest. One hour too late, in my opinion. Especially when you have small kids. Coffee was very bad. Nescafe machine. Should put a ban on them. Orange juice from the can with too much sugar. Eggs, bread and some fruit. Margerine and jam from small plastic cups.
We booked for 7 days after hot recommendation by a friend, but decided to leave. The owner was surprised because we were the first customers that told him that we didn't like his place in the 10 years of its existence. He proudly tapped his tripadvisor and booking.com awards which are on display on the front desk. Only happy customers, you know.
I'm pissed off, because I was misinformed.
By the hotel website and by all the reviews.
The owners and the staff are very friendly & helpful. It`s the perfect place for a pleasant & relaxing holiday for both couples & families with children.
I would highly recommend this place for everyone.
Hotel is very well located, 50m from the beach, very close to restaurants and also in a good position for travelliing to other beautiful places and beaches in Halkidiki. Rooms are not very big, but they are cosy and extremely clean. Towels and sheets are changed every 3 days.
Would recommend it especially for families with children.
Hotel Estelle is a family hotel, but still suitable for young couples and friends as well. Rooms are clean, hotel is 50 m from the beach, nice and different breakfast every day. Private parking for hotel guests as well.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and always try to make feel like home. They gave us trip advises, so if the weather is bad or you don't want to stay on the beach there is still a lot to do and see.
We've spent a week in the beginning of September'11 and will definitely do it again.
Overall an excellent place to be!
"Rooms on the back side of the hotel are quieter. Overall is a family hotel perfect for real relax."Read full review
