Like staying at home: small room on the ground floor but ok for a couple. There is everything, comfortable bathroom with window, balcony with wooden shutters and outside space with table, chairs and clothesline. There are no mosquitoes even though there is a lot of open space outside with plants, trees and outdoor tables with umbrellas. Ample parking inside the gate. I spent 12 days at the "pension Circe" with wife and two children and what to say we had a great time, Athanasia who follows Italian tourists follows you and helps in all your needs, my every request was met quickly, hardly in Italy I found so kindness and effectiveness. The furnishings are a little dated but functional, the kitchen area a little sacrificed, we always ate on the balcony that remained the plus ultra of our apartment (really infinite and equipped very well with sunshades, towels x spread lots of towels, table and chairs, have breakfast seeing the sunrise over the sea and mountains was for me the maximum). The apartment is in a very ventilated area and therefore the air conditioning is only served at night if you close the windows). There are no mosquitoes and flies (x me coming from the Po Valley great thing... I warmly thank Athanasia and all the pension Circe x made us feel at home. Kefalonia wonderful island. Thanks to all the members of the family Varzaky we had the most wonderfull vacations. The place is very clean, quiet and made with love. If you seek being cut of any mainstream tourism this is the place for you. Close to -in my opinion- the best beaches in Kefalonia. I also recommend the restaurant "Faros" which is 5 min. away by car. You will not regret these two places.
