I needed a hotel to stop half way home from Austria, I contacted this hotel as I wouldn’t arrive until late and they bent over backwards to accommodate me, the hotel it’s self is excellent value for the accommodation you get, which is warm, clean and friendly, close to motorways. The rooms aren’t the most modern but they are great for the price I paid and I slept very well. There is breakfast included again it wasn’t amazing but considering what I paid it was good enough. Would definitely stay here again as a pit stop

For us it was a convenient overnight stop en route from the Channel Tunnel to Austria. The room was very comfortable (we were in no 11 across the road) with a balcony that would be welcome for a longer stay. The staff were very helpful, the dinner was good and at breakfast there were even paper carrier bags so the cheapskates amongst us could make up a free (?) take-away lunch. If you're visiting the area around Merzig, or just need an overnight stay after filling up in Luxembourg, the Laux can be recommended without hesitation

Really happy with my two night stay here, very reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Dinner was of a good standard and the buffet breakfast had a lot to offer. This is a family run hotel, with family pets (Dog and Cat) in and around the communal areas.

We stayed at this hotel on our drive down to the Alps and were very happy with our choice. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. the owners and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and they really went out of their way to help us. We are a family with five children aged 4 to 18 and everyone was happy with the food and the accomidation. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice from outside but very old room. I didn't felt comfortable at all. It was cold. The windows left the noise from the main road disturb the night. The dinner wasn't tasty and I was quite shocked in the morning as I arrived to take my breakfast : the cat was drinking the milk on one of the tables... I don't need to tell you my feeling as I discovered that all the buffet was open, so the cat could have taste everywhere. I was disgusted and quite happy to leave. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
