From the very first mail I wrote to inquire on the location to our very last minute we felt very welcome (we stayed 4 nights). The rooms are perfect with all the things you might need, and they are very clean. The owners are great Michael with excellent advises on where to visit, and Martha is handling the kitchen (and...

We booked here based on Trip Advisor reviews. The hotel overlooks the Mosel River and is on a road lined with restaurants and winery outlets within easy walking distance so you'll never want for a pleasant way to spend an evening (although, apparently, everything closes in early afternoon and doesn't reopen until 18:00). Michael was always attentive at meals, but,...

Marta and Michael are warm, friendly, and wonderful hosts. Their home is well kept, updated, with a touch of rustic appeal in the collection of antique tools and machines from days gone by in the dining room. They assisted us with every detail of our stay, from directions, to boat and bus tickets, wineries-- even faxing a business document back...

Stayed 3 nights during cherry blossom time. Marta and Michael were warm and inviting hosts, the b&b was spotlessly clean, and the meals, both breakfasts and dinners, were ample and delicious. The location is very practical in a very pretty area. Top rating. Hope to come back soon.

Set in Ernst, on the side of the peaceful Moselle river, Haus Schwarzenberg provides a standard of service of an exemplary standard. In addition to great service, our room was spacious and comfortable and a WiFi system giving excellent coverage and a fast connection. Our hosts were a mine of useful information which helped ensure we saw the best of...

This lovely place has many good reviews so to pick one thing to mention, it has to be the delicious breakfast - big selection, fresh and presented with care. I like to start the day with good food and we all enjoyed it very much.

We stayed with Micheal and Marta (our 3rd visit) in July at the end of a long tour around the North and East of Germany. It was so nice knowing in advance that we were going to have a lovely, relaxing, comfortable stay over. It was almost like coming home. The hotel, with its setting overlooking the Mosel and it...

Marta and her husband who run the hotel were very nice and accommodating. She was worried that the room provided would not be big enough for our family with two young children. The room was actually quite large, quiet, and plenty large enough for us. The included breakfast was very nice as well. The hotel was centrally located close to...

We have just had the most perfect five day stay with Marta and Michael at Haus Schwarzenberg! We walked, cycled, visited beautiful old castles and marvelled at the stunning scenery. I can honestly say that their hospitality, gastronomic dinners, amazing breakfasts and constant support, recommendations and advice made this a break that will remain in our memories for ever!

We chose this place based on the reviews of Trip Advisor and were not dissapointed. The BB/Hotel is basic but it has all you need (nice bed, warm shower and delicious breakfast) for a few days in and around Cochem. Parking is widely available and free right infront of the hotel. We stayed in the room facing the river and...

“This hotel is about 3km to the south of Cochem along the rivier and I wouldn't recommend it to backpakcers as it's quite a walk which is very dark at night. But if you are with a car/motor, this place is ideal.”
