Four mature Bikers made very welcome in lovely hotel. greeted by the owner, we were all booked in and shown to our rooms. I was upgraded to a double room at the front of the hotel which had a small balcony with wonderful views of the main street and the tree lined hills opposite. We were on a half board... More

We were quite stressed when we arrived in Bad Bertrich, but the second we stepped out of our car, warmly greeted by the Landlady who was watering her beautiful plants, our moods changed at an instant. The peaceful atmosphere calmed us down and a cool beer from the bar, consumed in the very pretty back garden, helped to relax. Our... More

The hotel has a good location - directly on the main street. 5 min walk to the Vulkaneifel Therme. If you get there during the time they are closed (somewhere around or after lunch time) you have to ring at the main door (don t go behind). The parking place is just next to the house and I think has... More

We stayed two nights here, having booked a day's treatments in the town's main thermal spa up the road. Wished we had booked longer, as there is so much to explore and we only really touched the surface. Hotel is very well maintained, and everywhere spotlessly clean. The quality of the classicly styled hotel room and en-suite shower room was... More

Really enjoyed our stay. Friendless staff who can help you in German, English and Dutch. We had a pleasant evening watching the world go by from the conservatory with a cold bear in our hand. This was after a great meal, the snitzel they serve is outstanding

Booked online A warm and friendly welcome - at time of writing this place was 5 out of 12 hotels here - number 1 charges two and a half times as much!!! I'm writing the third review! A great hotel in a tiny hide-a-way village with a great spa 5 minutes walk away. Village has a bank, a chemist and... More

“Go to the Vulkan Eifel Thermal Bad website and book your treatments in advance of your stay, to ensure that you have what you want. We had a full day of treatments and a lunch with drink for around 100 Euro each, which is about a third of what you would pay for an equivalent in the UK.”
