We stayed there for one night to meet friends. The hotel is surrounded by a forest and the exterior look stayed in an antique look. Inside we found one of the most modern and comfortable room ever. Breakfast is nice and everything was clean and beautiful.

Upscale rooms (in Herrenhaus building), with new and spacious bathroon, wifi, 2 flat tvs etc. Food has a wide selection of high quality, buffet style for lunch and dinner. Learning environment was a newly renovated building with breakout rooms and equipped well. Friendly staff.

It's most likely you're working for Bayer or one of it's affiliates when visiting this place, but having a seminar hotel which has several different houses from different areas in Germany is something special: - Extremely well situated in the landscape, within the hills of the local area - Quiet, quiet, quiet - you can't hear a single noise during... I have been to Grosse Ledder frequently over the last years. The location is amazing, in the woods and hills of Bergisches Land. The rooms were renovated lately so now they provide all the comforts. Although there is no gym, you have the choice of beautiful running options. The food is German food at its best, expect to gain weight!

I happened to be here in connection with a training program. It is operated by Bayer Gastronomie, a Bayer subsidiary. Very calm and serene ambience, very neat and clean. Food was excellent. Staff were helping to the best. Nearby a lake, which can be reached through lush green forest narrow road, but avoid if raining. You can feel the rustiness... More

This is a lovely spot in Germany, reasonably within reach of Dusseldorf and Koln. The grounds and gardens are well-established and immaculately maintained, with a host of wildlife including impressive frogs and red squirrels. The welcome, the cleanliness and the good order are just what you expect from a Bayer Gastronomie property. Nice people, good food, very clean and well-equipped... More

I visited Grosse Ledder for a four day conference during a period of hot, sunny weather in early July. The weather brought out the best of the beautiful woodland surroundings, and I enjoyed the short walk through the woods from Bottingerhaus to the lunch/dinner room every day. I was impressed with Bottingerhaus, which had very modern, comfortable rooms. My only... More
