I was confused when I read all the conflicting reports about this hotel. But now I know the deal. Some rooms have been redone and are nice while others have not been touched for years and are not so nice. We stayed the night in Sanary on our way back to Paris after a lovely trip to St Tropez. This... More

Our third time at this charming boutique hotel. The rooms we had have all been updated with simple but effective typical furniture. The bath rooms are fantastic with very modern fittings.A sea view is a must at this hotel as it is so very special and worth every penny. It is true that there is no lounge or bar but there are... This beautiful boutique hotel (no elevators though) is managed by the family's 3rd generation. They and their staff go out of their way to help you with absolutely anything you need (I was on crutches and travelling on my own). I have been there twice and very recently the rooms have been redecorated. Personally I prefer the rooms on the... More

Hotel well situated but badly managed. We were given a shoe box of a room which was a challenge to squeeze in a our baby's cot. Room was dirty and there was not lift. No concept of service what so ever, lady that runs the hotel is both rude and unprofessional. She seems to have done her best to train... More

We had a room overlooking the harbour, which was lovely, very restful. The room was modern and well appointed, with an excellent bathroom, comfortable bed and plenty of space. We didn't use the air-con, the air was so lovely, but it's there if you want it. The staff at the hotel are pleasant, especially the lovely lady who served our... More

We read the reviews in Trip adviser and reread them because they are very mixed. In the end we booked for 6 nights and are very glad we did.The hosts are both very charming and Madame speaks excellent English. We had a quiet room overlooking the back street with a lovely view of the harbour from the bathroom. The hotel has... More

Spent three nights here in early Oct 2009. We had a nice room overlooking the harbour. The weather was beautiful and the resort was not too crowded. The only disappointment was the hotel restaurant which was extremely expensive for the average quality food we were served ... presentation at the expense of the quality of the ingredients and cuisine. I... More

We didn't expect luxury at the Hotel de la Tour, having read plenty of reviews. The location (overlooking the port) and the restaurant's reputation for fish were the main attractions. Sure enough, the situation was delightful - like being on a boat. Nothing else positive to report. A nasty smell of stale fish overlaid with cheap air freshener hung about... More

The worst hotel we've ever stayed at... On arrival we were told that our reserved room was unavailable and we were taken to a top floor room (no lift) in exchange. On opening the door, a powerful aroma of stale sweat hit us and the hotel receptionist said she would bring us an air freshener to mask the smell!! We... More

We stayed here on our way to Les Baux and were pleasantly surprised. The location of the hotel is excellent - right down by the harbour - and our room (number 17) overlooked it all. The bathroom (same size as the small-ish room) also overlooked the harbour, creating a wonderful experience when lying in the bathtub! Parking is a bit... More
