The hotel is wonderful, we have stayed here nearly half a dozen times now, and every time, it has been great. Friendly accomodating staff, even when we arrived late, stunning, comfortable rooms. Tasty breakfast with wonderful homemade jams, you must try the marmalade!

This is a comfortable hotel with a very pretty courtyard terrace bar restaurant. We had a very good meal, then walked around Cluny (beautiful) on our stop-over here before rejoining the motorway at nearby Macon. We had asked for parking, and I was a little worried when we arrived as all the spaces appeared taken, but there was no problem...

Calmness, serenity, friendly service in this wonderfully restored pottery. Large rooms with the old tiled floors, good beds and tip-top bathrooms. Excellent dinner in the garden with a good choice of wines. Also a very tasty breakfast with homemade jam, a wide range of cheese and very good coffee in another part of the garden which is nicely kept, but...

Great place with lots of atmosphere. Very warm welcome by friendly staff. We were allowed to park our 4 Harley's inside the gate in the garden. Large modern rooms, no carpets, with air conditioning. Food at restaurant was excellent. We were recommended a great wine by the chef. All staff was extremely friendly. It was a very busy Saturday night...

Booked here for Sunday lunch which was probably necessary as the place was busy. It is an old inn/ hotel near the centre of Cluny and we received a pleasant welcome. Atmosphere was good, if not luxurious and service was efficient. The food was tasty and well prepared but at 32 euros for 2 courses or 37 for 3 it...

My husband has fallen in love with this hotel and wants to come back next year. It is a really unusual place - unique! There are original sculptures and paintings everywhere, almost certainly created by artist friends of the proprietor: one was there most days, adding finishing touches to her latest sculpture. The building itself is hundreds of years old,...

Had an overnight here after the horse racing at Cluny. The hotel is very quirky and quaint. I stayed in the suite on the roof which had great views over the rooftops of Cluny from the outside balcony. The room was nice, but a bit overpriced for €195. The garden area is set beautifully with a huge bull as a...

After a dodgy hotel in Troyes, I was a bit worried. I shouldn't have been.this is an old building with transformed rooms ( huge, quiet, has a wet room, clean and sparkling, wonderful bed ) and an amazing restaurant. The staff were charming, the food was fabulous, the breakfast was super. This hotel is a little gem!

I chose this place because it used to be an old pottery factory and I like places with a history. The place is beautifully redone and decorated. The interior patio is just so pretty. We stayed in the room 'chalet'. Again we loved the style and decoration and the seating area attached to it. The bathroom was modern and clean....
