Accommodation ideally located, close to shops, roads and ideal for visiting the Bordeaux vineyards.
Spacious and well-equipped house.
The bathrooms are particularly large.
A small terrace overlooking the vineyard is very nice. The place is calm.
Good bedding and the bed made on arrival is very nice.
Finally, note the kindness and availability of Élodie.
I highly recommend this rental.

We had comfortable stay. The place was well equipped and clean. During our stay the area was also quiet. Boulangerie and shopping centre just 5 minutes drive.
The only small minus was to good restaurants it is needed to drive. But just restaurant is walkable!

We stayed at La Residence 'Les Grands Vignobles' for a few days in August while exploring St Emilion and the local area. We found it to be a good, comfortable villa in a good location with great views over the adjoining vineyards. The accommodation was all very clean and modern and still felt quite new. The location is great with a short drive/cycle to St Emilion and on the outskirts of Libourne with the town centre only a 5 minute drive.
From a size perspective we all agreed it would be a very tight squeeze to fit the advertised 10 which would involve using the sofa bed in the living room and 4 people sharing the bulk bed room. Whilst the kitchen served us well as we were eating out during the day and only having bread and cheese in the evening if you did wish to cook something more substantial you may find the kitchen somewhat limited.
Overall we found the villa to be very good and fitted our requirement perfectly, I would book again if we stay in the area again and would recommend to a friend but mention the kitchen and sleeping arrangements as something to consider.

Les Grands Vignobles consists of about a dozen 2-floor townhouses clustered together in Libourne, a suburb of Bordeaux about 20 minutes by car from St. Emilion. Our residence was was very spacious -- 3 bedroom, 2 baths, and a large kitchen, eating, & relaxing area. The place was clean, comfortable, and attractive, but the relatively new construction was poorly done in some places, which detracted from the overall impression. (Also, the coffee pot didn't work.) We enjoyed the patio with a view of a vineyard. Overall, the residence was an enjoyable, moderately-priced base for seeing the Bordeaux area.

Having stayed in various self catering apartments across Europe, we were prepared for.... surprises. Usually you find somewhere that has been furnished by leftovers from the owners house, however, this little house has been fantastic. Spacious, well-equipped (including the basics that are usually missing from holiday apartments, like dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid) and quiet. We spend four great nights here, cycling around the vineyards. The bathrooms are great, with powerful hot water, air conditioning in the main rooms, and a little terrace overlooking the surrounding vineyards.
There is a large supermarket a few minutes away, and Libourne town is a 20 minute walk (perfect distance to walk off a hearty confit-canard based dinner) and the road to Saint Emillion is quiet and perfect for cycling.
Elodie, who welcomed us, was very accommodating despite the fact we were a couple of hours late, and when we met the owners of the house at their shop in Saint Emillion, Damien gave us a gift of some of their wine and a tasting of the local vintages. A true gentleman, thank you Damien.
Can't fault it. Book now.

We stayed 4 nights at La Residence in Libourne. The location was a great central point for visiting the Bordeaux wine region and very close to Saint Emilion. The town of Libourne is quiet and a bit tired but there are some lovely boulangeries in the square and a fantastic market a few times a week. It is about a 30 minute brisk walk into the square. We were met by Marie-Pierre who was lovely. She explained everything to us and made some recommendations regarding places to eat, etc. She is on-site too which is great if anything goes wrong. The 3 bedroom townhouse is well equipped and clean. Wifi is good and the place is spacious with a lovely view of vineyards out the back. Dishwasher, microwave, cooktop, tv, refrigerator and coffee maker are all provided. The only criticisms I would make are that the beds are not very comfortable, the bedding is poor quality, we were only provided with two towels (no bath mat or hand towel) and no dish towel for the dishes. But these are small considering the extremely reasonable cost. If visiting the Bordeaux area in the future, we would definitely stay here again.

The villa we stayed in was spacious with kitchen, living (overlooking a small vineyard) and dining area on one floor and 3 bedrooms (which can sleep 8 persons comfortably) on the second floor. We could also park our rented car right in-front of our doorstep.
There was a bathroom on the ground floor for those who might have mobility challenges as another bathroom on the second floor could only be reached via a narrow staircase.
The bedrooms were quite well furnished while the sofa in the living room was peeling off and looked dated.
Although it was cold, especially during the night, we were told that we could not turn on AC/inverters in the dining area and the bedrooms as there were all not working. There were only 2 small portable heater - one in the dining area and another one along the corridor of the bedroom that we could use. As a result, one of us cane down with flu.
The bathroom on the second floor had a musty smell so we had to open the bathroom door to ventilate the place.
To sum up, it would be an ideal base for visiting nearby vineyards like Chateau Gazin, Chateau Troplong Mondottes, Chateau L’Evangile, if not for the cold weather we had to battle amidst inadequate heating in the villa.
