We stayed here for 5 nights and it's a lovely family run hotel on a great and quiet position just a few steps from the sea. The rooms are simply furnished, very clean and with large terrace. Selfservice breakfast is delicious, you can choose from lots of things; also dinner - from different fishes to grilled meat and vegetables. It's a great value for money. Don't expect a fancy hotel, expect a cosy, pleasant hotel with delicious local food and a lovely sandy beach! The city Pag is a nice 15-20 minutes walk away.

We stayed just one night while driving around Croatia. We had booked a double room on the internet, but when we arrived, the owner gave us a three bedroom, two bathroom apartment with kitchen. The furnishings were out of the 1970s but it was clean and spacious. The beach is right outside the door, rocky as is typical in Croatia, but clear and clean and warm. We didn't eat at the restaurant, rather we walked into Pag town for dinner. The hotel is on the far side of Pag, a little hard to find. It is close to Tony's.

We booked for 5 nights for two a room, with seaview and terrace. The booked room had no view, because of an olive tree. The staff offered us another one, with great view, We were very satisfied. Thank you again!

I came here with my husband, one year old son and little yorkie. The owner was allready rude on our arrival. There are narrow, steep and slippery stairs leading to the room, which is not suitable for small children and all the luggage. You get tired in the beggining of your vacations.
Rooms are outdated from 70, broken cabinet and refrigerator handles, only 1 toilet paper, poor quality of cleanning and a dangerous balcony where a child can be injured. Dinner was average and modest. For a dessert a slice of watermelon... In the morning we had hard bread from yesterday and a spoiled salamy for breakfast. During breakfast the owner has interupted us 5 times! - he was initially disturbed by the baby seat (on the empty terrace), which he came to tell the husband and I separately, then he came to charge us an extra for dog (ok, 5 € per day), next that we have a room with a balcony (which he assigned to us and we did not ask for and did not want) and that we have to pay for the balcony 7 € per day. Since I said we didn't want a room like this, he said we would just have to move (with a 1 year old child). Whoever has children knows what it's like ... Because of his inhumanity, rudeness, uncomfortable and dirty room and spoiled food, we didn't want to stay there for even a minute more!! This is how your inhospitable host ruins your vacation ... I do not recommend this place! We have paied for the uncomfortable night and spoiled food 50€, and he wanted another 50!! Instead of retourning us our money because of oll the annoyances!! Not to mention that my husband was sick all day. This "hotel" (wich is NOT)should not be named Frane, but Srane (s..t hole)!
To the city center is 1 km narrow, dark and traffic street. The beach is across the street, the sea is not clear because of the bay, everything looks like a small lake, there is no view of the open sea. If you love a friendly reception, have small children and love a modern and clean apartment, this is not for you!

When you wake up here, the first thing you will ask is "Does anyone want to go swimming in the Adriatic Sea today?" and then 15 steps later you are there. The accommodations are clean and the rooms have small balconies, but the access to a quiet beach is the best. It was an easy walk along the water from the bus station and you will literally walk right onto the property. The owners were very helpful and there are limited chairs on the rocky beach to lie on. Breakfast was included and had a small variety of options, but all was fresh. It is a great value!!

We were a family of 16 persons that rented this building for 6 days, and 4 of us that rented it one day longer. We had a great time apart from the checkout and some small incident where water and wine disappeared from our fridge, which unfortunately is what I will remember of this Hotel. I will not recommend this hotel and will also not return.

The building was refurbished for not so long time ago (don't know excact details), and the building is all right (2,5 out of 5). There is a kitchen which included what was needed to make a simple dinner and to prepare breakfast and two fridges, which kept our water and beer cold (very good to have). I also must mention that the pool was very nice.
There were some trifles: there was almost no water coming from some of the washbasins, an AC-unit that did not work and too few controllers for the AC-units (we had to borrow off each other).

As said, the stay was good until the checkout. The hotel owner even gave us a bottle of prosecco to enjoy the last evening, which was very nice. But then there was the checkout. There clearly had been some breakdown in communication because we were told that they had no bookings after us, so we could use the main areas a couple of hours after checkout if we just were out of our rooms. This obviously changed without us knowing, because the hotel owner, in a rage, threw us out of the hotel in the middle of our breakfast. We did not even get to store our luggage on the premises until the taxi to the airport arrived. If he had told us that there would come new guests in advance, we would have been out of there in time and the scene would not have happened. Letting us store the luggage is also not something that he was bund to do, but it would have been very nice of him since we then would not need to drag them down to the beach. My experience is that this storing luggage is not a problem in other hotels.

There also was a case where a 7L water bottle disappeared from our fridge. One of our travel pack checked the fridge before he went to bed, and the next morning it was gone. This also happened to a half empty wine bottle. We discussed this, and thought that it could not have been the hotel owner (or his wife) since it would have been utterly unprofessional. The water probably had been used (we were many people, and so on). However, after the hotel owner had thrown some of us out (there were still 4 persons that was going to stay until the next morning) one of us see the hotel owner go into the fridge and take water (which we had bought). This does of course not prove anything about the former incidents and water is not a very expensive thing, but feel it is very unprofessional.

This is my one-sided recollection of the events, and it would have been interesting to hear the hotel owners. He surely would deny it all. I will however not recommend this place and will also not return.

This is a lovely place, located on the island of Pag. It's very clean, tidy and with friendly staff. Beeutiful setting, among trees and in front of the sea. Prices are moderate and you need a car to move around.
