First time here. I never did camping in my life so this was a very unique experience... the camp was empty and with only 100 customers... so basically I had the camp for my self, but bad part you can’t enjoy enjoy the whole facilities like, massage, aerobics dancing, restaurants, shopping, etc, there were open only 1 coffee bar, one restaurant and one supermarket. The staff was friendly and polite. They have a little farm inside with few animals. The pools are beautiful the toilets abs showers were clean. You can do many kind of sports like tennus, football, etc and rent from bikes , bicycles to scooters. It was very quiet since there is not people in there. Definitely I will be back 😍

We stay in Strasko for one week in mobile house 1789,the house is next to football field. Problem is becouse next to football field is like disco, every night loud music from 20.30 till 22.30. We have three children (4 years 2 years 3months)..and little one cant sleep if 10 meters from your iron container is loud queen music. My personal opinion is that 195€ per night is too much for what you get...becouse container is quite small and kitchen is not fully equipped (no dishwasher,no oven...) for that amount per night you should get it. Another problem is ac..if you dont have it container in container 50 degrees in 3 minutes...if you have turn it on it can be really cold compareing with outside. Staff is really nice and polite. Also beach is quite nice. In my opinion to expensive for what you get. Usually that happen everywhere in Croatia but that is another story🙈

TLTR "Great camp, lacks in details, will consider returning (but not in high session). Not quite worth the money..." We booked Olive Superior - 1. row by the sea. The location was excellent (house #4) since you are the last house and you don’t have to look at the neighbours terrace. But your neighbour is a sporting facility (pool, climbing wall, rent/school for water activities...) and they were playing music until 22.00 (sharp), so this was also not a problem for us. The house itself was not cleaned very well (COVID-19), but we are very precise and we always clean everything before use anyway. There were also very few kitchen utensils; 2 pots, 1 pan, no chef's knife (we brought our own) and no small bowls (for cereals, ice cream). And this house is supposed to accommodate 6! After complaining by phone and email, we got additional pots and pans, but bowls are not part of regular inventory... Really?! In "superior" house?! There is no oven, but a freezer is a big plus. WiFi is very poor through the camp, so don’t expect to watch streaming video. But the signal in our particular house, was zero or one bar. Fortunately we have a good mobile plan, so we used mobile data (4G), but that was not as fast as you would expect. The part of the BEACH in front of the house is allowed for dogs, but we love animals and those 2 or 3 doges were very well trained. The minus is there are A LOT of sea urchins - after about 5 meters of pebble (water depth 1m). As said in the title, camp is very well maintained and they also have a washing & drying machines. Next time we would pack half of what we had this time. On the other hand most of the guest have a hard time following COVID-19 rules (masks and personal distance) and the camp staff adapts to it. There are still group activities, the pool was crowded and the gate guard has no authority to warn guest to follow (their own) rules. No disinfection takes place on the kids’ playground or other amenities. Our communication with the reception was mostly one-way (just us complaining), with no feedback or apology (or discount). We visited just the bakery every day, but the grocery store is expensive and poorly stocked. We vent to Novalja every 2nd or 3rd days to stalk up.

The campsite is in a wonderful setting along a lovely pebbly beach with clear water and lots of shade from trees. Well kept with very clean facilities. Our glamping tent was lovely - a real hit with the kids and on a really spacious plot - but the parties at zcre beach kept me awake due to loud music (from midnight til 6am). It was closing parties every night while we were there - luckily the staff were very understanding and were able to move us, but it was peak season and busy so we were lucky there was anything else on offer. I feel this saved the holiday for me. Pool complex was great, as was the inflatable aqua park (age 7+) and other facilities like table tennis, tennis, chess etc. - all free. Enjoyed aqua aerobics in the sea too. Supermarket had limited choice but enough to get by if you don’t want to head out. Sunsets from the beach are amazing. And open air cinema on the beach showing family films was a nice touch. Kids entertainment is aimed at little ones - not hugely professional but they don’t seem to care! I would def recommend just avoid the zcre beach party end of the site (opposite end to to pools).

These 4 star campsites are a real lifehack when it comes to accommodation in Croatia, I believe. In terms of location, showers, toilets, restaurants, shops, the pool, the beach, it all has a quality, resort-like feel. (For real, when I showed my friend a picture of the pool with the sunset and the endless sea in the background they thought I was at some luxury resort haha) But at the same time you're camping so it's miles cheaper that any accomodation with these sort of conditions. Good choice of food too. There's a fancyer restaurant, but still OK prices, there's a little terrace with pizza and cheaper, more fast-foody things and there's also a supermarket and a bakery. Just make sure to bring a good tent with an inflatable mattress (very important), and then really have all the ingredients for an awesome stay at a very reasonable price. Unless you have a caravan or camper van, make sure to camp in the free zone, not the pre-booked individual camping pitches. Those are more expensive and mostly sold out, and the only difference is that you have your own electrical socket and water supply. In the free zone you have to find your own spot and an electricity box with several sockets is located every 20 m. If you're just with a car and a tent, that is more than enough. The price was like 47 euro per night for 2 people, 1 tent and 1 car. For a campsite that is not cheap. But if you consider all that you're getting, I'd say it's a best buy. (P.S. The restaurant, the supermarket and the bakery take credit card payments, so does the reception, but the pool bar and fast food terrace don't. And the ATM inside the campsite is one of those crappy ones that retains a commission. So make sure to have some Kunas as well.)
