The garden is pretty nice, whit a lots of pools, not very big, whit sun beds and bars. The rooms are small but ok. The only problem is that is very crowded at the breakfast, snack and dinner restaurant. The beach is with stone and you have to pay for sun beds or drinks over ther.

This resort has beautiful plants all around, good beach for little children, tui part is new and rooms are new, very clean, food is very good, lots of choises, only natural drinks are missing, all drinks are artificial with sugar, lemon pie is exellent, čevapčići was also very good, losos, coffe is also very good ,staf is exellent, really traying to make your holiday pleasnt.

It was love before first sight. I must say, our agent at our travel agency did it well. She said, once you are there its hard to find anything better for this price. When we came at Waterman resort: RECEPTION DESK: friendly and kind staff, RESTAURANT: various and delicious food, CHEFS…WELL DONE!!! ( even if you are picky, you can find something to eat ( meat, fish, lot of salads, veggies, soups, etc…because of pandemic situation, they are serving food and they are doing it with masks and gloves, staff are cleaning and dezinfecting the tables, ROOM: clean, new or freshly renewed, big, nice, cosy, ENTERTAINMENT: CEDRIC, IVA & STEFFI you are great guys!!! There is something for everybody all day till 23:00. Pandemic safety precautions are good, but you need to follow them. We did feel safe there. Overall, great vacations in a beautiful place with amazing, always smiling staff and good food. keep up the good work guys, see you next year for sure :)

We enjoyed our stay at Cactus hotel. The hotel is clean, staff was friendly, restaurant had great choice of food and drinks, and the whole resort is very well managed. The grounds and gardens are beautiful . Thera are 4 or 5 pools different sizes, for adults and families with small children. Location of the resort is right on the sea, first row. I highly recommend it.

Booked directly on website for 4 star Waterman Hotel but got placed in a strange block of apartments set back from the other hotels. The apartments were very nice but not what was advertised. I queried this with the hotel management and they explained that it’s pot luck as to what accommodation you get. You simply get assigned a room according to what’s available. Therefore you should be VERY careful when booking and looking at the pictures because you won’t get what’s advertised necessarily. A further deeply complex and extremely poorly explained system is the wristbanding. When you book online you’re told and shown on the map that there are 3 all inclusive restaurants. Adria, Mama Rosie and Kaktus. However depending on what accommodation you’re randomly assigned, you’re only allowed in one of those restaurants. The difference in quality and experience between all three is absolutely enormous. I paid €850 and originally got placed in Adria which is a glorified Ikea restaurant, densely overcrowded with no pandemic safety precautions in mind with regard to proximity of people. The food was totally dire and wasn’t self service - if you want to order a salad it’s like ordering at Subway. Very time consuming and, unfortunately, the staff don’t speak good English so that expounds their situation further. To the Resort’s credit, I complained to the manager and they changed our wristbands to green allowing us access to the far superior and self service Kaktus restaurant. The food there is fantastic and it’s a nice environment. In terms of bars, you are also limited to your wristband. Despite all the bars serving exactly the same drinks menu, you’re only allowed in one bar. When I queried this I was told with a green band I could access Mama Rosie and Kaktus. We went to Mama Rosie and they told us we could only access Kaktus and Adria. Nobody actually seemed to know what the rules were which again was time consuming and stressful. I recommend the resort has a training session with staff to highlight these rules. The staff overall are efficient and friendly. That’s a positive and whenever I had a query they answered promptly. My recommendation is that upon arrival every guest should have it very clearly explained to them which bars / restaurants etc they’re allowed access to so as to avoid embarrassment as we experienced when being asked to leave. Finally, for gay travellers to Croatia, it’s not particularly gay friendly. I consider myself and my friend to be low key gay guys who keep themselves to themselves but everywhere we went in Supetar we got comments, looks, laughed at, smirked at, stared at. Perhaps it’s the Croatian Catholicism which causes this but it doesn’t make for a particularly nice feeling. The country seems to have a long way to go in getting with the 21st century in terms of personal liberty - it’s 2020 not 1920 after all. So overall: know what you’re getting into. If you look at the resort map bear in mind you’ll only be permitted access to 1/3 of it and not the whole thing. If you’re gay, don’t come. Thanks to Lea and the team at the venue for being friendly and efficient.

Dear Patrick Kennedy, I am sorry to hear that Waterman Svpetrvs Resort hasn't matched your expectations and perhaps taste. To begin with, it would be pretty fair to emphasize the fact that the food offered is pretty much the same in all three restaurants. The only reason supporting our decision to assign only one restaurant per guest has to do with the efficient maintenance of the overall guest flow in the restaurants. There is quite a big number of guests we are dealing with, to simply leave everything to chance. In order to deliver the best food quality and the service, there is, we need to plan out these kinds of things well in advance. I hope you will have a slightly clearer picture after reading this short explanation that will help you to understand that all of our decisions are exclusively focused on the satisfaction of our guests. I'm sorry if it wasn't clear enough in our catalog listing. I am also saddened to learn you weren´t fully satisfied with the choices we have on our menu, we pride ourselves on our selection of a 14-day buffet menu with something for everyone, but I do have to admit the dining place can be busy sometimes, especially when operating at full capacity and in the situation our guests decide to dine at the same time. I'm sorry if we couldn't please you in that aspect. I would like to make statements in order to recall unwritten rules in the hospitality and certain standards that each guest should keep in mind when booking the accommodation. We strive to inform our guests beforehand via the official website, social media, online booking sites, or by email and we are more than happy to answer each question the guest might have. Bearing this potential misunderstanding in mind, I would like to take an opportunity to invite all of our potential guests to reach out to us directly if there is some information unclear or if there is some issue in need of extra clarification. We believe it is quite important for all of the travelers to have valid information beforehand since expectations that one might have are a very important part of the overall satisfaction. We have no tendency of creating false expectations in order to generate short term income. Quite the contrary, we would rather strive to exceed your expectations once you are here. In this case, I would like to apologize once again we failed in meeting your expectations on this occasion but I am sure we will definitely wow you next time. We take very seriously our guest's opinion which means we will carefully value every and each comment stated in your feedback. And just to point out, that all people are welcome in our resort! It is our greatest pleasure that we can serve all people-en-masse, but individually, as each guest is different.
