Just returned from this hotel
In Supetar. Had a lovely see view room, never had a problem getting a sunbed and the staff were super friendly and helpful

We booked half board and we don’t usually . The dinner food is great though, all a la care and plenty of choice . Everything we had was lovely

Breakfast was buffet with a good selection and local produce . Mario the day time waiter deserves a special mention as he is super attentive !

I booked the location due to the ferry being close by but I did not do enough research and this is a Split service only and we were hoping to Island hop

We visited their sister hotel in Milna and would probably stay there next time as this was a better location for island hopping . Bol was lovely too and had an Ibiza Cafe Del Mar feel

All resorts were super clean

It was not that busy due to Covid and Croatia going into the red zone . You could only feel for the staff

I would recommend this hotel
Highly

We used the local bus easily but hiring a car would be ideal

The olive museum
Is worth a visit. Their tapenade as reception recommended is just superb

I booked all this independently
And getting the ferry etc is so easy . The hotel is literally a ten minute walk from
The ferry terminal

Happy holidays

We have just returned after spending a week in this lovely hotel in Supertar. From the moment we arrived the service was truly superb. The hotel is immaculate in all areas the cleaners do a great job, great welcome at reception as we checked in.

We stayed in a standard room which was well designed, clean and very well equipped with a kettle, tea and coffee and a well stocked mini bar at very reasonable prices. Bedding, pillows and bed were so comfortable, rooms cleaned daily to a high standard.

Breakfast offers a great choice of hot and cold food it was lovely to be outside sitting under the olive trees.

Our booking came as half board, we typically like to eat out when on holiday however the quality of the menu was gorgeous, loads of choice, quality food we ate at the hotel every night as it was so good. Lots of people from outside the hotel coming to eat in the restaurant so that shows how popular it is. The staff are all really great, great to talk to Luis about fishing and to see the pictures of fishing in Mexico, sorry we ran out of time to say Goodbye on our last day, thank you for the great service.

Lovely to have pre dinner drinks on the roof top - the cocktails were lovely and great happy hour prices between 6pm and 8pm.

Highly recommend this lovely hotel - thank you for the lovely time xxx

We visited this hotel using Jet 2 Holidays. We chose it because we wanted a holiday in an adults only hotel. The hotel was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. When we arrived we were offered a drink and sat down to check in. The hotel facilities, local area, beaches etc were all explained to us. Our room was beautiful, on the second floor with a view of the sea. It was very modern and spotlessly clean with everything you need. Coffee and herbal teas were provided. The room had a mini bar which you obviously had to pay for but the fridge was big enough to hold a few of your own purchases. The room was cleaned daily and thoroughly. We stayed on a half board basis. Breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty of choice, eggs, fruit, yoghurts, breads, cold meats cheese, cereals etc. The hot items on offer perhaps could have been hotter but that is my only criticism. The evening meal was al la carte with loads of choice. You had to pay extra for a couple of items, but we never felt the need to do so as there was plenty on offer. The food was all piping hot, served to your table, beautifully presented and delicious. The restaurant staff couldn’t do enough for you and were all so very friendly and professional. We had most of our meals outside in the lovely gardens. Plenty of tables inside and out. The hotel has a small pool which is under a cover with a retractable roof. Sun beds and parasols are located next to it. However, the hotel is situated very close to beautiful beaches ( mostly pebbly) which we preferred to use. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the very pretty harbour which contains lots of restaurants and bars for lunchtime meals or drinks. The drinks in the hotel were a little pricier than outside but this is usual. Overall a fabulous hotel all round with great service.

We arrived at the hotel after a long car journey. The welcome.. they were received "surprised" we´re there.
After more than 1 hour waiting while they strugled finding the reservation ( fully paid through a gds ) we were sent to an awful back room, not a sea view as it was booked and paid.
When we complained about this they gave us a room a few meters from the pool filter and 0 amenities. The hotel was at most 50% capacity.
To avoid more problems we stayed there for the 3 nights, being waked up at 7am with the pool maintenance noise and a gang of gardeners prowling around our terrace.
The icing on the cake..when asked for a ferry timetable the rude woman at the front desk gave us a not updated 2019 timetable, this error noticed by another nice young employee at reception.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel, and the staff are just wonderful, especially Mario, Anita, Roberta, Iris, Luisa, Barbara and Ivan. The reception staff can't do enough for you and Mario is a smiley, lovely presence every morning at breakfast. The location is also perfect, really near the ferry and the cafes. Also right on a lovely string of pebbly beaches with the most beautiful crystal clear water. You can easily stroll from beach to beach via walkways. The bed and pillows are the best I've ever slept in, so comfortable, and the room is very quiet at night. You can easily walk with suitcases from or to the ferry, it's only 6 minutes. The cleaning was great and staff wore masks religiously.

There is however a lot for the owners to do to make the experience better. Breakfast is really basic, we were quite disappointed. No fresh cut fruit, eggs usually a bit cold and not much choice. No fresh coffee, just a machine. Tiny 2 slot toaster so you couldn't fit the bread and if more than one person wanted it there was a queue. It also never really varied so got a bit boring after a few days. There were fixtures and fittings hanging off the walls, the bathroom door kept sticking, no shelf in the shower to put things, hot water in shower runs out fairly quickly as it's on electric, no'goodies' left that you'd expect in a normal 4x star hotel like moisturiser, tissues, water (although you can drink the tap water) etc. The pool is tiny, cold and permanently covered even in hot sunshine so basically unusable. The roof cover had only been put up 2 months before we went and was not shown in any pictures, so that was a bit of a shock. The TV sound was awful, tinny and muffled. We had a patio/yard area which was nice, but strange that it's so near the beach and yet no hanging facilities are available to hang wet beach gear.

At the time of year we were there, end of season, Supetar was not the best place to travel to other islands from. You have to drive to Milna to get the catamaran, or get over to Bol which is a 40 minute drive so bear this in mind. It's also very quiet after the 3rd week of September, everything shuts down and there is not a lot to do, probably 3 or 4 days there is enough at this time of year. It's also cool in the evenings in late September, which you'd expect.

I'd recommend the hotel, but it would be great if the owners could make a few small adjustments to make it a true 4 star.

We had an amazing time!

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk around the beautiful harbour from the ferry and your are there.

From the moment we walked in the staff were cheerful and welcoming, and that was the same through the entire stay, and included the reception staff, the waiters, bar staff, cleaners... Everyone made you feel welcome.

The room was really nice and spotlessly clean, we had a sea view, and had great air conditioning.

We were half board - breakfast was buffet-style and had a great choice of hot and cold food. In the evening it was al a carte and everything we had was freshly cooked and delicious.

Special thanks to Anita on reception, Mario and Luigi at breakfast, Dejan who was usually our waiter in the evening, and not forgetting the two young ladies in the restaurant who's names were didn't get (sorry!!!) - you all helped make our holiday so special. Hopefully we will see you all again in 2024!

We stayed for a week at the end of July (27 July - 3 August). From the moment we arrived we were treated so well by all the hotel staff - polite, respectful, humorous and helpful. Our room was a superior double sea facing with balcony. It consisted of a bedroom with a separate small living area - ideal coupled with a well appointed bathroom with large (rainfall) shower, WC and hand basin. The fact that the hotel was adult only was, for us, a bonus.
The food was without exception excellent. We were on a half board basis. Breakfast was sumptuous and catered for all tastes, was fresh and appetising. At dinner the menu was a la carte with waiter service and again, catered for all tastes and varied enough so that it was possible to have a different dish every night of our 7 day stay.
The staff, as mentioned previously were exceptional and special mention must be made of those who attended on us for our stay. In particular the following, Anasarah, Dejan, Mario,Luis, Ivan, Jovan, Anja, Lucija and Nene all went over and above to ensure our stay was one to remember. I would like to add that the often unseen and unsung members the kitchen and catering team also deserve a special mention.
From our experience would without hesitation recommend Hotel Osam as a perfect adult only destination

Well, we have just returned from Hotel Osam, an absolutely delightful hotel in every way. My husband and I had a weeks cruise from Dubrovnik to Split and we'd had a busy time going on excursions and socialising with the other guests. So, for our second week, we'd planned a totally chilled and relaxing stay in Supetar. We know, Supetar quite well but we'd never stayed at the Hotel Osam before, I'm so glad we did.

The hotel itself is very chic, elegant, understated with fantastic pieces of art scattered around. The lady on reception gave us a warm weocome and we were showed to our room at the rear of the hotel on the ground floor, it had its own garden/terrace area with seating, a table and a sun parasol. There was no view from the room, but since we'd had a great many sea views from the week before, we didn't mind at all. The room was very large with a hallway, a seating area and an enormous bed, together with a large en-suite. To our delight, it was completely quiet, the shutters made it dark, and the air conditioning was very efficient and could barely be heard. In short, the room became our own personal sanctuary and allowed us to have the perfect night's sleep, spacious, cool, quiet and dark. Plus the bedding was high quality white cotton. The pool area had comfortable sun beds and the pool was pleasantly warm with wonderful views.

The roof top bar was fabulous, very stylishly furnished and has amazing views. Gorgeous cocktails whilst watching the sun go down before dinner. The weather was great, so, everyone ate outside in the open restaurant. The food and service was excellent, we especially loved the breakfast waiter, sorry, didn't get his name. It was good to know that the restaurant was open to non residents and was often busy. There is a beautiful black and white hotel cat, that sits patiently at the side of your table, she quietly moves around to another table if she doesnt get a little piece of your dinner, we are cat lovers, so it was good to see she was very healthy and looked well cared for. If you don't like cats, you can ignore her and she'll wander away. So, cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, just one detail that could make the hotel perfect - the bath towels are not large enough to wrap around you after showering. Usually, I'd like to be covered up while doing my hair and make up, so, would have liked a bath towel that could wrap around and tuck in, or even better, a bath robe. We look forward to coming back next year (!

Stayed here at the end of September 2019. Absolutely gorgeous hotel in a great location for seeing the beautiful Island of Brac. Really recommend the nearby olive trail and walking as far as you can to the other towns along the coast. Such an easy boat journey from Split and Hotel Osam is a short walk from the port, taxi only for the purpose of bags. As our stay was 'out of season', the resort was quiet of an evening and our balcony and the amazing rooftop bar of the hotel provided lovely spots to enjoy a drink and watch the sunset. Our room was amazing. Really large room with two walls of windows (shutters for privacy but amazing view when open) which was serviced beautifully every day. Hotel staff were really knowledgeable about the area and always willing to help. Bike hire was great, should probably offer helmets? The breakfast was the highlight. The outside dining area was a morning sun trap and the food was really high quality, as was the fresh coffee. Particularly enjoyable was the daily hot vegetables on offer and dairy free milks, a welcome break from many hotels where the vegan option is toast. We also ate in the hotel once for breakfast and lunch which was equally enjoyable. The breakfast staff were so smiley each morning and nothing was too much to ask. This hotel is a beautiful, spotless and modern place to stay. We got a great price going out of season which I recommend, still plenty going on, just less people!
Thank you for a great stay, we hope to be back one day!

Just artived on the beautiful island of Brac in Croatia staying at the hotel on the marina called Hotel Osam!

What a FIND!!!!! Its a 5 star boutique hotel, sitting on the marina here on the island.

You can walk from.the ferry 5 minutes into its welcoming modern interior, with staff that obviously know their island and hotel.well.

Im a lone 65 year old traveller thats travelled the world many times and stayed in many 5 star hotels, but also worked in them too, so I can qualify this review a bit more than just a travelling guest.

My room is spotless, so is the patio with a super padded sunbed on my patio that leads onto a further larger patio where the pool is.

Large comfy bed, with expensive toiletries for yr use, together with a packed fridge too and safe as well, all free to use.

I particularly asked for a front room with a view as on my own travelling, hoteliers tend to put you in the back, with no views or overlooking the air conditioning! Typical

The food is tasty n beautifully presented, and i would recommend the risotto Yummy. Toether with the shrimp skewers, actually its all wonderful.

Dont hesitate book for next year, you wont be disappointed, i definately will be, book same room too !

Good luck caroline

Hello Curious_ML, thank you for your interest in our hotel and for your question. Here is a list of restrictions we practice at this time: - We practice social distancing - Cleaning products are available throughout our resort (restaurants, bars, toilets, gym, swimming pools ...) - Social distances are spent in restaurants - food utensils are packed individually - Additional cleaning of all areas was carried out - Drinking machines are regularly disinfected - Our staff wears gloves and masks Guests don't need to wear masks or gloves if they don't need them, they just have to respect the social distance and use hand sanitizers at the entrance to the public spaces. The restaurant "Otok" in the hotel works normally for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in compliance with the above measures. The hotel Osam bar and "Rooftop Bar" works normally in compliance with the above measures. The beach and pool rules are as always. All the best, Jan
