I recently visited Bracka Perla for a massage which was really relaxing and just as I’d hoped for. The staff were generous enough to let me spend the next few hours by the pool (even though I wasn’t a resident). The service was warm, friendly, and made my last few hours on Brac before returning home truly amazing. The beach is a stone’s throw away, but with the poolside location, staff and facilities as perfect as this, it’s hard to leave. Highly recommended!

The private location of this hotel was great, with a lovely view and only a 15min walk into Supertar. The pool area and balcony were very comfortable with nice sunbeds, towels and chairs/tables. The breakfast provided also offered a good range of choice. However... The bathroom was below average - plastic fittings and a shower head that only came up to my shoulder. It was a shame there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room as it would have been lovely to enjoy one with that balcony view. A mini bar was provided but no bottle opener to drink anything! Also our room was only cleaned once in a 3 night stay. The staff provided little to no information about the hotel - we didn't find out there was a rooftop hot tub until the day we checked out. The spa and fitness facilities are about a 1/10. Also promotes a secluded beach area, yet in reality the sunbeds are in a pine wood, dirty, unkept with broken roofs. This hotel is missing little touches that you would come to expect from a 4* hotel and the rates you pay. The setting sells, yet the overall quality is pretty average.

Room Tip: Don't get 202 - an apparent suite but poor sea views and low ceilings. 102 is the lemon room...

We had a disappointing stay here. The hotel website pitches an upmarket boutique-style hotel and it charges to match - but it is more like a standard guest house We had a Superior Room (with sea view) whose description was very misleading: - the furniture in the average-sized room was basic and old, straight out of the 1973 Politburo office style book, and the glass tops on the bedside tables were both damaged; - you had to stand up on the terrace to get a sea view; - the bathroom (interestingly, no pictures of these on the website) was seriously small and the facilities cramped; - and the breakfast was average and uninspired. The breakfast coffee in the thermos jugs was undrinkable so we ordered espresso and cappuccino for which we were charged - although not told this at the time (more later on this) On arrival, we had lunch, both ordering beef burger and chips - these were straight out of the freezer and tasting as you’d expect. We had thought that we might have dinner in the restaurant at least a couple of nights, despite the austere presentation of the dining room which lacked any view, but the experience put us off completely - our thoughts were shared by our fellow guests, none of whom I think dined onsite. The hotel website talks of a Grill Bar in the evening - this doesn't exist From the website photos, the pool looks an odd shape albeit a decent size - intact, it’s a minute sheep dip where you reach the end after a couple of strokes The Wellness Centre was closed when we were there as a result of a client suffering a lavender allergy reaction - which sounds odd? There was a big terrace next to our room (number 205) which we used extensively, although it was bizarrely just next to the staff dormitory so we were frequently interrupted by their noise The staff were friendly and helpful - the only blot being the breakfast coffees where we didn’t find out we were being charged until we checked out. Staff had also tried unsuccessfully to charge our credit card with room charges the day before we left and without our having seen the detail. We were told this was company policy but is this good practice or even legal? The hotel location is good - on the edge of town and with easy beach access and with a couple of lovely beachside villages within 30 mins walk. Not disclosed on the website is the fact that the hotel is directly next door to a large holiday complex - this had the feel of a slightly downmarket Vilamoura - which lies between the hotel and Supetar. This turned out not to be a problem as it gave us access to bars, facilities on our doorstep without the need to schlep into town (a 15 minute walk) All in all, we felt very badly let down - the saving grace was the lovely island of Brac itself, the car we hired for four days which enabled us to not be hotel-dependent during our stay, the friendly staff and the beach pavilions which (although at least two of the six beds were broken) gave great beach access and views Our impressions of the hotel are very much in line with the other non-5 star reviews posted on this page - we wonder which hotel the 5 star reviewers had visited?

Secon time at this fantastic small hotel , hidden in the forest of Brac. Only recommend improvement is the beds, they are small and hard. The pool area , the jacuzzi.... all fantastic, unfortunately we couldn’t stay more than one night this time. The staff is fantastic and the same goes for the breakfast. Hope to see you all soon !!
