the rooms are big enough but for 4 persons, only 1 small bar of soap to be used by everyone, terrific! we stayed there for 2 days for our seminar and no variety in the food served. leftover from lunch was served again at dinner. the pool is dirty with lots of floating bamboo leaves. one of the worst hotels,... This was our first time in Sipalay, we chose Jamont Hotel because of good reviews in trip advisor. Let's start with the pros. If you are looking for a clean room, a big and clean pool and a decent restaurant this is the place. It's located in the area called "proper" which basically means it's in the town. The hotel... Went to this hotel with family and friends. We were 13 persons in our group. When we arrived their staff was very accommodating. They have a convenience store which is very complete. Pool was big and clean. We were able to swim during the night without curfew. Their rooms are big but the floor was damaged. The location is very... More

This is now called Jamont Hotel, they reverted to the old name which was originally Jamont Pension before they called it Sipalay Suites. This is actually our third time here and this time we stayed at their new expansion wing called Veranda facing the city beach front. The room was large which was good for 4 persons with a split... Sipalay suites is really comfortable but stay in building 2 not building 1. The pool side rooms are rooms closer to the beach are a lot better than rooms in building 1. With the right timing, you can enjoy an unforgettable experience by being within walking distance to the beach. Add to this an island adventure and you've got yourself... More

The hotel is full of contradictions. A beautiful beachfront, mixed accommodations to suit most budgets, a lovely pool which is well maintained and cleaned daily which you cannot say about the rooms. Our room was in the older part of the hotel and would benefit from some upgrading, I cannot remember the last time I saw an old CRT tv... More

In the first room, in the old building there were kockroaches, not one, but many. The bathrooms are dirty with mold and lots of chalk on the tiles and floor. The staff cleaned up after the roach complaint and sprayed, but there were new ones the next day. So I moved to another room, they were very accomodating about that,... More

The long drive from Dumaguete was all worth it upon checking in our executive suite room. It was a beachfront accommodation with glass walls, overlooking the amazing Poblacion Beach. The room is big enough for a group of six and had two king size beds (added two extra mattresses) , refrigerator, sofa, television, and a jacuzzi. The pool was nice.... More

The rooms are spacious and decently clean. We're in he old (renovated) building which is a tad bit cheaper. The food is nothing special. Low quality rice and the hamburgers are not of consistent quality. Eg. Low quality meat. The chicken inasal was really tasty on several occasions though. Service so far is average. Friendly, but the staff barely speaks... More

We went for a short travel (3hrs) to sipalay to go on beaches there and came across sipalay suites. The people there are very helpful and very informative about the place. We went to the swimming pool and everybody loved it. Only stayed for a few hours so cant really say much about the rest of the property. Only thing... More
