We were visiting Rhs garden Rosemoor and found this special offer in the telegraph. We were in one of the lodges which was comfortable and spacious. The food in the restaurant was very good,as we're the staff. Breakfast was also very good. Although out of the way,it was worth it and very good value.

Enjoyed a few days here surrounded by glorious views. Meal in the Devon view restaurant was excellent and the accommodation was very good in one of the cottages. Spent all day on the golf course/ leisure facilities in view of dodgy weather. Recommend

We stayed 5x days and had a wonderful break. Staff were very accommodating, especially within the restaurant. Devon View serves great meals and is certainly worth the trip but the selection of Bordeaux at the back of the wine list at incredibly attractive prices makes this outstanding value and quality. The golf course is well maintained with some great views.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at this beautifully situated hotel. Our standard room, in one of the small courtyards close to the main house was comfortable, if rather uninspiring. The view from the front of the hotel across Exmoor is absolutely gorgeous - if only the weather had been kind enough to allow us to sit outside in the... More

Lovely weekend away, good food, great welcome, iffy golf (my problem not theirs). Good facilities, nice room, very comfortable. Went away for a long weekend, bought a deal on travelzoo, ate in the cellars restaurant (nice menu with reasonable choice for about £25 - £30 for 3 courses), breakfasts were very good served in the Devon restaurant (great views over... Although being in the middle of 'nowhere' this golf course/hotel/resort has everything required to relax and chillout. Although not the best of golf courses especially the greens it still gives quite a challenge set amongst a fantastic area with stunning views. The staff are very friendly and courteous, excellent food service. We had the usual bap and coffee on arrival,... More

We loved the historic details (the coal-shute into the understairs bar and the magnificent French Windows in the Drawing Room) and the view was amazing. The service was excellent and friendly. We took breakfast overlooking the rolling Devonshire hills, and the restaurant (and breakfast room is named for the view). Our room was in a building separate from the main... More

Second time of staying ,good accommodation, great food in the Devon View restaurant the leisure facilities are very good . The hotel is on a hill and the views are fantastic. If you are lucky with the weather you can play crocete on the lawn or tennis and of course there is a golf course.

We stayed at Highbullen as part of a 2 night package including 2 breakfasts and 1 3-course dinner. The hotel was clean and the interior was beautifully decorated. The food was great and the grounds were well kept. The indoor swimming pool and golf course looked good though we did not try it. Our room was a split level modern... More

Spent two nights here for our wedding anniversary in the Louis Seize room. First impression was a little surprised at a large stain on the carpet but the rest of the room was stunning, especially the huge bed. The road up to it was a bit of a challenge but well worth the effort. The staff were friendly and helpful... More
