This hotel doesn't have 24/7 hot water and limited wifi which is 500 MB and if you paid for more data, the wifi got extremely poor connection, I would never come here again ever! Please at least give unlimited wifi for this low quality room, so regret!

I purchased this accomodation when the hotel was having a sale, $99 for 1 night. When we arrived we were told that we had been upgraded and we were thrilled ... until we saw our "upgrade". From the exterior this hotel looks really snazzy. The room was musky, and decor was in desperate need of refurbishment. The lighting was so...

A sublimely picturesque spot, turquoise Lake Tekapo, with the tiny Church of the Good Shephard perched on the edge, mountains that had just had their first dusting of autumn snow. I arrived at the hotel at 1pm having been driving all day from the south to be told to come back at 2pm when it was booking in time. So...

Stayed here for one night. Lovely location on the lake. Motel is a dated building over 50 years old. Paid top dollar for accommodation which wasn't worth it for what we had.(in off season!) Every other Motel in NZ we booked all had good facilities toaster, untensils, etc this place did not have this. Rooms were average and walls paper thin. The...

When I saw the review for this hotel, I was nervous. But actually it was okay for visiting this small town for just one night. It is on the center of town and next to all restaurants, and only five minutes to Church of the Good Shepherd by walk. Location is excellent but hotel is a little bit old. The...

This is a top spot with Lake frontage and spectacular mountain views. The rooms are very tired, particularly the bathrooms, but they were clean and comfortable. We had rabbits and ducks outside our bedroom door overlooking the lake which was cute. The evening meal at the restaurant was beautiful with stunning views. We would stay here again.

We had dinner here and the service and food were very good. The restaurant is underused, and needs some updating, but the food was very good for the price. The only criticism we had is that the coffee is just awful. Skip that, and the rest of the dinner will be excellent value for cost.

Mostly a good motel. Stayed in budget accomondation and had trouble getting the back door to remain locked. Beds comfy though. Food lovely but expensive. Kids menu pretty basic but it made them happy.

The lake was amazing. The azure blue colour and clarity of the water simply incredible. Sadly, the hotel didn't live up to the location. The room (and bathroom) was adequate. It was OK for sleeping in, but that was all. The quality of the food, both the evening meal and the breakfast was poor.

Unhelpful reception was a fitting gateway to a really poor, tired hotel. Rooms small and need painting and upgrade. Facilities minimal. Only location was a positive but hardly enough to redeem this disappointing place. Very deceptive on line photographs.
