Stayed one night in Potting Shed (I kid you not), which was surprisingly fun and cosy. Delighted to find small fridge and microwave as well as toaster and kettle. The mattress could do with replacing soon as we tended to roll to the middle of the bed! Owners really helpful re eating out and also lent us his binoculars to... More

Rowan Cottage is eccentric in the nicest possible way and feels like someone's weekend cottage furnished, equipped with non-matching leftover items and curios - such a change from the others motels which after a while all seem the same. It is not for the traveller who wants luxury, but if you want to feel at home, this is the place.... More

A short stay in Rowan Cottage proved to be a wonderful and memorable experience. I really loved the cosy feel of the cottage and the look of the two sleepouts. The two bedrooms in the main property were perfectly adequate for us and we enjoyed the board games in the property (an old NZ set of Trivial Pursuits was a... More

The cottage is far from being new and up-to-date but it is comfortable and clean. Very warm welcome. The location is close to the village (10 mn walk) where you can buy food. The place is somewhat outdated but one feels at home there. A very clear kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a fireplace and a kind of balcony. to gaze at... More

East Wing cottage was perfect for our family. Lovely, peaceful setting with a homely feel. Cottage was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Location was perfect- within short walk to the lake and service centre.

We were in for a huge surprise when we booked what was desribed as an 'offsite' cottage only to find out it was a self-contained holiday house in an elevated street overlooking Lake Tekapo. The holiday house has 4 BR's with the master's BR having its on en suite. Fully carpeted and.perhaps renovated not long ago with all amenities including... More

We were greeted as soon as we pulled in to the cottages checked in 2 hours early! We stayed in the Potting shed cottage and loved it. It is rather small, but we were very comfortable. The location is within walking distance to the Church of the Good Sheppard.

We had the beautiful East Wing during our stay and we loved it! There definitely was enough heating when we stayed despite reading what some others had written. The gardens around the compound was beautiful with lots of blooms. The bathroom was very new and we had good showers in there! This apartment was huge for us and we would... More

This place was fantastic. From the moment we checked in we were greeted warmly. Room has everything you need, small stove area, microwave, comfy bed, everything clean. Actually can’t think of anything negative to say about this place. I noticed someone previously made a comment regarding to having no table in the room, personally I cannot see how this is... More

It was the only accommodation available. Although staff pleasant, our first impression was that the grounds were over run. We got a discount because of the lack of cleanliness of the kitchen. Owner apologetic. We had a double unit with a shared kitchen. On booking in the young lady told us that the unused unit would be locked and put... More

Hello, I would just point out that a. the unit is not shared, its a two bedroom unit with a kitchen, and we simply gave you one bedroom and the kitchen. b. The ranch sliding doors both have a snib on them, a big one,, they can be locked from the inside. As to the garden, we have a large... More
