My friend and I stayed at the Opera House. We received a very warm welcome, the room was most comfortable and the view of the lake, the Heritage Church of the Good Shepherd and James Mackenzie's dog just beautiful.

We stayed in Garden Studio for our son's wedding recently. We were delighted with the location, could not fault it The accomodation was very disappointing. We had occasion to look behind curtains when we lost something. There was thick dust everywhere, even along the side of the TV stand. The furnishings, decorations and equipment are old fashioned. We did not... More

We stayed for two nights on a recent driving holiday. We were installed in Mary Macs Cottage which is an original cottage right on the lake front. It was a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom cottage. It was well equipped but would need a coffee plunger and ice trays to make the experience complete. It is a quiet and pleasant... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Opera House. The Opera house has 2 floors. Downstairs you can find 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a space with a washing machine, upstairs another bathroom and master bedroom (with view) and a spacious living room, from which you have an amazing view on the lake and the statue of the dog, with kitchen.... We stayed in The Opera House, which was very well appointed and comfortable. The staff member in reception was very friendly and had good local knowledge. The views were great. Loved it. It was a short walk to local shops and restaurants. Parking was very convenient.

Amazing location right on the lakefront across the road from the Church of St John and the statue of the dog. Very cute little cottage with everything you could possibly need. We had such an enjoyable stay. Our visitors from Japan were suitably impressed. Everyone we dealt with at the Estate was friendly and helpful and took the time to... More

My husband and I took both of our parents to New Zealand for a family trip and spent 2 nights in Tekapo. We're so lucky to choose Parkbrae Estate as our accommodation in this heaven like small town. We stayed in Aldourie Lodge which is an elegant old-fashioned beautiful house with huge spaces. My mother and mother-in-law loved the giant... More

We arrived in excitement to our booked night in the Garden cottage and whilst I was lighting the fire, my husband and kids spotted a rat or mouse on the kitchen bench. We promptly threw water on the fire, locked up and left. Management gave refund but no assistance given to find accommodation. Would not recommend or book again. Very... More

We stayed in the Church House for 3 nights for our Lake Tekapo wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Graeme was a fun, friendly and helpful host.
