Views - AMAZING Location - fantastic: few minute walk to The hot springs, ice skating etc Park facilities - ok. I didn't love paying for a shower when all other parks didn't have this. Kitchens are decent and well equipped. Wifi - not free. $5 per 1GB Service - average. Not happy staff like every where else but you don't... More

We chose a lakeside cabin for our stay. What an amazing place and view to wake up to. The cabin was one large room and en suite it had a lovely veranda to sit on and enjoy the lake views. BBQ facilities were close by. It was quiet and everyone seemed to be really friendly

This site is great if you have a young family and enough money to enjoy the tubing, ice rink and spas just around the corner and if this is your first taste of the mountains. However it is a very exposed site (with admittedly good views) with very little space between sites. On our winter trip this was the only... More

I stayed there with my family on holiday and booked a powered site. We were placed close to the facilities and given info about the freezing temperatures affecting the water in the mornings! The toilet/ shower block was heated which made a huge difference. The showers run on $2 coins. Some were a bit hit and miss with the temperature... More

Great location close to town and the hot pools. The whole facility was very clean and service friendly. Ask for campsite with a view of the Lake. There is plenty to do within walking distance and an ideal place for all ages.

We stayed in an ensuite cabin, with a tremendous view straight out over the lake. Even better was the verandah on the lake side, where we could sit on the outdoor chairs and watch the sunset. The cabin was modern, perhaps only a year or two old at most, and spotlessly clean, with a good Freeview TV and small kitchenette.... More

Stayed in a 2 bedroom motel. The view over the lake was spectacular. Overall the motel was clean, the heating was good and there were electric blankets on all the beds. The kitchen was adequate and had everything we needed. The free wifi was super slow and there was barely any vodafone reception. Just a short walk/drive to the hot... More

Our campervan site was not flat - and in our van the two beds were designed to go in different directions, so that was awkward. Perhaps it was because it was winter, but after the spotless stunningness of Fox Glacier, this was a massive letdown in terms of shared facilities, it felt somewhat tired. Is this because it is the... More

When we first arrived, staff were friendly and helpful. We also had a lake view which was beautiful. That's where it ended. We had to use the kitchen and showers 50m away due to a school group commandeering the ones that were 1m away. In the dark this was no fun. And the kitchen was smaller and very packed due... More

We parked our caravan on a powered sight which had stunning views of the mountains and lake. The camp is backed by lovely trees which block highway noises. The facilities were immaculate at all times and reception was very helpful. Adjacent to the camp is the Tekapo Springs pools and ice rink. The township is in walking distance from the... More
