I went to the Ecolodge for 4 days in July 2007. This was my second visit. I went three years ago and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and staff so much that decided to return. The basic nature of this ecolodge didn't bother us atlhough I was a bit surprised at the cold shower given the cost of the accommodation. It was clean, the staff were friendly and particularly patient given that we couldn't speak Spanish. However, it was the noisiest place I have ever stayed in. Don't be fooled with the presentation the Ecolodge show in his website. Here are some pictures that will explain what it is for real. El Playon is a place full of Venezulian people, gentle but dirty.
